John CONyers: Socialists in the house

Conyers is a member of the House Progressive Caucus, and if you’re not aware, that organization is considered radical to us conservatives, because it was founded in 1991 by Bernie Sanders of the Democratic Socialists of America. Socialism and socialists don’t go by the real names yet, because it can’t be sold yet under the brand name. Cindy Sheehan was in touch with Conyers, the whole bunch of them are radical extremists.
His voting record, according to the progressive Americans for Democratic Action (ADA) tilts left between 90 and 100 percent of the time. According to the 2002 rankings of the National Journal Conyers is the most “liberal” member of the House of Representatives.
Conyers is the most prominent lawmaker lobbying to free Mumia Abu-Jamal, the convicted murderer of a Philadelphia police officer. Conyers has been a National Executive Board member of the National Lawyers Guild (NLG), which was created as a Soviet front and still embraces its Communist heritage. In a June 1, 1979 New York Times opinion piece he co-authored with Marcus Raskin, co-founder of the extreme leftwing think tank the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS), Conyers asserted that “government’s responsibility is to revitalize the nation’s economy through creative forms of public ownership” - in other words, through socialism.
Civil Rights activist Rosa Parks worked on Conyers’ 1964 campaign and was employed for more than two decades in his Detroit office. But unlike Parks, who committed civil disobedience to change society by refusing to sit in the back of a segregated public bus, Conyers has deliberately designed laws to treat citizens of different races differently and to impose obedience to policies of reverse racism. One such Conyers law requires police to keep statistics on the race of people they question or arrest in to order to discourage “racial profiling” of minorities, a law that also makes police more reluctant to question or arrest minority citizens even when such actions are warranted.
Conyers helped enact “hate crime” laws, which critics have described as punishing people for “thought crimes” and politically-incorrect speech. These laws in practice are often applied unequally. If a white hits a black, big city prosecutors frequently add hate crime charges to impose a heavier criminal penalty. If a black hits a white, such prosecutors seldom add charges involving hate crime statutes.
Conyers has authored a bill to study the economic harm done to descendants of slaves, the results of which research will lay the basis for demanding that potentially trillions of dollars in reparations be paid by American taxpayers to black Americans. None of today’s taxpayers have legally held slaves in America, and none of the potential recipients of such reparations have ever been slaves, slavery having been abolished in the U.S. in 1865. But as Fabian socialist playwright George Bernard Shaw wrote, he who robs Peter to pay Paul can always count on Paul’s support.
For a radical like Conyers, such racially-polarizing issues are win-win propositions. They encourage minorities to regard themselves as victims and to regard white America as their victimizer. If reparations are paid to every African-American, Conyers can take credit for the largesse. If reparations are not paid, Conyers can denounce this as racism and use the issue to stir resentment and to justify more political transfer of wealth to minorities via other means such as welfare and racial preferences.
Now that I’ve skimmed that subject so you have an idea of where this guy is coming from, now we get down to the Downing Street Memo which John Kerry, another member of the illustrious House Progressive Caucus, said he was going to “bring up” in Washington. These people are afraid to actually say the word “socialism”, but I’m not. It’s exactly what Van Helsing said in comments–
The crimes of Stalin, Hitler, and Pol Pot were products of the darkness that the USA has been struggling to hold back, as were 9/11 and Saddam’s mass graves. By choosing to spread the sort of propaganda they have, the Democratic leadership is effectively siding with this darkness against civilization.
The Downing Street Memos are much like the Rathergate incident, or even the Eason Jordan stuff in my opinion. Pro-terrorist socialist scumbags like John Conyers (and John Kerry) who are the most extreme left of their party (note the communistsa at the frogblog are particularly interested in what’s happening with this) are pushing the detrimental effects of the Downing Street memo as supposed support of the impeachment of Bush, that he lied to the American people about the reasons to go to war. It’s the total reason it’s such an item in the news. It’s what spawned this mock impeachment hearing that took place in Washington that was chaired by John Conyers, and this is where all the anti-Semitism came out of the mouths of a bunch of Democrats who participated. It’s the reason why Howard Dean has now had to come out and say, “Anti-Semitism, why, that’s not part of our party,” yeah right.
Socialists and Communists like Hitler and Pol Pat have always embraced Islam and killed Christians and Jews, why should they change any of that now? Dancing around it and word smithing what Conyer’s really represents: the interests of the terrorists and killing the infidel–isn’t going to change a damned thing.

If this was a test of the liberal blogosphere, the results are in: it’s a miserable failure. As much as the frogblog and other communists are complaining that the Downing Street Memos haven’t received enough coverage, there are many who are no longer interested because we’ve already figured out:
Though we can’t speak for The Post’s news department, the answer appears obvious: The memos add not a single fact to what was previously known about the administration’s prewar deliberations. Not only that: They add nothing to what was publicly known in July 2002.
So Dianne, Philippe and Berlin Bear and the rest of the idiots over there can moan and whine all they want; what they’ve missed is this isn’t a story. The British people already looked at this; the fact that John Kerry thinks it’s news only illustrates what a stupid dolt he is, and you can rely upon John Conyers to represent exactly the ideology we should be fighting.
One more thing about Conyers: Over 80% of his campaign contributions come from outside of his district.
