A Useful Death
A mother’s anguish turns to ire,
Her liquid tears to spears of fire,
A useful fool for the liberal Left,
All hatred now, no more bereft.
The honor which her son embraced,
Is now dishonored, now disgraced,
As his mother stands atop his grave,
From there to shriek, from there to rave.
Yes, some are maddened in their grief,
And grief can surely change belief;
But this woman’s views, her family say,
Have long been held, long fore today,
Enabling Leftists to use her grieving,
For Moore deception, Moore deceiving.
I see this mother as a willing fool,
A useful Moorish Code Pinko tool.
As one who fought in another place,
I sorrow for this boy’s disgrace,
By a zealot mother grafting grief
Stealing his brave deeds, an honor thief,
Usurping his valor to claim her share,
Five minutes of fame in Media’s glare.
Her platform one you don’t see often:
A dishonored, flag-draped, soldier’s coffin.
I can hear Michael Moore muttering under his breath,
“Yeah, this was really a useful death.”

I won’t lie to you… that was a pretty clever poem.
With all do respect to your experience in Vietnam… that was another or your Nation’s mistakes. At least then though there was no deception in the call to war. This situation is different. Your leaders lied to you, and lead you into a war for the wrong reasons. Regardless of the outcome, Americans should have been given the complete truth, not the farce that was presented. Then and only then could they have made the decision to go to war.
This war is founded on lies, and unfortunately it’s guys like you. Guys who have put their skins on the line who are being duped into protecting these liars.
America is a pretty great nation, and it’s sad to see it going down the toilet. Wake up dude.

What I see is lying communist scumbags who don’t believe there’s any cause worthy of the sacrifice of American lives (of course), who don’t see that we need a strong military (hence Clinton cut our military in half), who were pushing the Downing Street memo as a reason to get Bush to stand down, who are pushing to get Karl Rove out of office because of the Plame Game, etc..
None of that rhetoric makes sense if you delve into the facts. What I also see is that the Clinton administration didn’t allow Able Danger to let go of the intelligence that would have saved American lives; as they had Mohammed Atta and the cell that was working on attacks in America…the intelligence wasn’t made actionable. What Sandy Berger did by stuffing those documents into his pants, shirt, socks, etc., and destroying those key documents and notes is a felony but he didn’t even serve any time because he was saving Clinton’s ***.
Even the OKC bombing can be traced back to Iraq.
There’s evidence that in 1989, there was an organization in Arizona tied to Al Qaeda called Fuqra…and they murdered an Imam in an Arizona mosque.
So people who are saying we went to war for a lie are either totally stupid or lying themselves. If you look into the truth of any of the reasons for going to war–it has all been proven to be correct. It’s unfortunate that people are only willing to accept what’s coming from the media because the commies in Vietnam and elswhere, after we “surrendered” in Vietnam and “withdrew”, attributed their “win” to the anti-war efforts at home and the media. We have the same exact elements at work with the war we’re fighting today, and I hope to God we don’t put the Iraqi people through what the Vietnamese people ended up going through–because after we left Vietnam, millions of them were murdered at the hands of the communists. It will be absolutely no different in Iraq except they’re also here on our soil to bring the fight to us.
I hope you’re ready for that.

John-Boy … it seems you’re another Leftie ignorant foreigner who doesn’t know anything about U.S. History regarding Viet-Nam — you don’t even know when the conflict started; who started it; nor when we became involved and why.
Besides; a “dude” didn’t post that — so, go back to your big bowl of Yankee Dumbass breakfast and shut up until you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, what you’re running that fat hole in your ugly mug about.
