Families take down crosses at Camp Cindy

Mark Voss, of Crawford, Texas, writes the names of those families who do not want their relatives memorial cross at the campsite for Cindy Sheehan, at a gathering of pro-Bush supporters in Crawford, Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005. The crosses were removed from the makeshift memorials at Camp Casey. (AP)

Cindy Sheehan’s statements have been featured on left-wing websites such as Socialist Worker Online, where she attacks the media as well as Bush.

This is a story about leftist fraud that should be splashed over every headline in the country … but, sadly, I’m not holding my breath while I wait.

From the NYT’s Sunday: Compared with several hundred crosses set down at “Camp Casey,” Mr. Qualls had a little more than a dozen at his encampment late last week. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/28/national/28parents.html?hp&ex=1125288000&en=c253b1ffc277e7c1&ei=5094&partner=homepage (second paragraph, second page of the article.)
Of course, the author forgets to mention that Mr. Qualls crosses reflect families who “rescued” them from the anti-war gang … who didn’t even have the decency to ask how the families felt …

the fact that families are asking that crosses with thier son/daughter’s name on it be taken down is lost on this media feeding frenzy… Bush is evil guys, you know that, quit trying to deny TRUTH with pesky facts

Way to go “G” — I can expect a stupid statement about President Bush being evil, coming from a CA nut in Palo Alto.

btw, you ever go to that crazy site? Cao went there, and some others to square off. As predicted, none of them tried to debate the issue at hand once some right wingers showed up, they just dropped into their “Your a Nazi” stance.
