Tagged with a meme

By: Cao, Filed under: ACLU , General @ 4:30 pm

Dave at Third World County tagged me with a meme, stemming from Kit’s post at Euphoric Reality.

It boils down to this burning question:

“If you could hang a sign on the ACLU building to …draw attention to it, what would you put on your sign?”

Here’s my sign:

So from here I’m tagging:

TD from Right Track Blog
Publius Rendezvous from Publius Rendezvous
Real Teen from Right on the Right
Gribbit from Gribbit’s Word
Ogre at Ogre’s Politics and Views
Duncan Avatar at Parrot Check

You’re supposed to tag 5, but I tagged 6 just in case Terry Dillard at Right Track can’t do the trackback stuff.

Tagees in my list should link to and trackback to this post!

Finally, here is the “geneology”. Tag-ees need to add their blog to the bottom of this list - but don’t take anyone off the top. David wants to see how far this will go. So, make sure you include your whole “meme-ology” and don’t forget to go crazy with the linky love and trackbacks.

    Here’s Your Sign ACLU Meme

Apparently people don’t realize that I hate meme’s, but this one was my kind of meme. Since I’ve been tagged twice now, I guess I better get to work.

Oh, Cao, you’ve taken this thing to a whole new level!

As i said in an email (and in a post update today), this thing could give us some good “sound bite” fodder for sheeple who are used to having Mass Media Podpeople do their thinking for them. But in our case, fodder that really feeds, maybe even wakes a few brain cells.

I plan on following this as far as I can to harvest as many “signs” as possible. I foresee even a possible post by Jay or John at Stop the ACLU with collected signs for folks to choose from in serving up sound bites… Your sign could easily join a Protest Warrier counter-demonstration, for example.

This is the ‘tagged with a meme’ post, Yatahey–this is ALL ABOUT TRACKBACKS. We’re trying to help each other grow in the ecosystem. According to Truth Laid Bear, I am now a “playful primate” in the ecosystem–trying desperately to hold there in the top 100. I don’t need to be up in the top 10 or anything…but holding steady in the top 100 would be nice.

  17. SSgt Yatahey Says:

Cao - okay; that’s what I thought - just wasn’t quite sure what was going on … BOL to you in the Top 100!

Some days I’m more lucid than others, but for the life of me, I can’t locate the proper trackback URL, Cao. (The one I’m using returns me to the original post.)

Harvesting signs and bytes is a very worthwhile project, I think. I’m glad to be a part of it.
