Friday Trackback Party
TGIF!
Thank God I’m FREE!

C’mon and trackback! Put up a post that you think deserves some special attention from this past week.
Watch for Open Trackbacks here on Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays.
Here is the trackback link to this post:
http://caosblog.com/2343/trackback/
To trackback to any post just use the post slug or “permalink” and add trackback/ to the end of it.
One other thing.
I will be deleting trackbacks when the posts don’t show that you’ve linked here. Make sure you do as I did, below–either saying thanks to Cao’s blog and linking to this post, or mention that I have a trackback party, and link to this post. Otherwise the trackback will be deleted.
If you are unable to send trackbacks, then use the Wizbang Standalone Trackback Pinger.

10/21/05: Racial Politics
Every now and then it occurs to me that since the first hominids evolved in Africa, then technically, under the terms of the one-drop rule, the entire human population is African-American. This means we can throw out all these stupid…

ACLU’s war on American sovereignty

Now, this is the UN we’re talking about, so what will be their response? Will they issue a harshly worded statement? Will they pass a resolution in the General Assembly? Sanctions? A Security Council resolution?

I’m so new to this blogging thing, what exactly is a “trackback” and a “pingback”? How do I participate? What do I do? Do I need to change my site?
October 21st, 2005 at 11:01 am
I can’t tell what platform you’re running (like Wordpress or Blogger, for example), but you need to have trackbacks activated. I’ll call on some of my buddies to see if they can help you out.

Help Wanted!
Wanted: An intelligent liberal blogger who can try to challenge my ideas. Any applicant must be capable of thought beyond “Bush lied, Bush lied, Halliburton, Halliburton;”
October 21st, 2005 at 11:55 am
I’m using Wordpress. I think I have trackbacks activated. That sounds very familiar. I also received an email once saying I’d received a “pingback”–but didn’t have a clue what to do about it.
I know that when I try to change my permalinks for my posts I’m told that I don’t have authority to make changes to my .htaccess file.
