Afghans certified the elections
If you’re looking for pieces on Jack Idema and his team, please click on this link.
They could start swearing in the members of Parliament as early as Saturday. Good news, all around. This is also good news for the Superpatriots, as it is expected that Qanooni will receive full backing as new the leader of Parliament.

Are we surprised the liberals don’t speak of such a historic occasion? I’m afraid the liberal officials in our country have exchanged their patriotic duties for cheap votes.

hey, read what the Associated Press has to say. They claim that Karzai will still control the Parliament, but that sure is not the reality here on the street.
Several other western press sources (all un-named) are reporting how the Karzai’s Pashtun contingent (read: pro-taliban) have won the Parliament. Anyone that is here and actually working with the Afghans is wonder what these journalists are smoking.
The Northern Alliance is about to control the Afghan goverment again, and that is good news for America and Americans, and bad news for the terrorists. Hopefully it will be good news for Idema and his guys too.
Do you have more on that article Idema wrote about warlords? If so, could you post a link?
Thanks, and OUT from their Kabul supporters.
PS: several of your weblog pages were on a bulletin board at Kabul Compound yesterday, and one of my men saw one posted at Camp Phoenix this morning at a TOC.
