Another blockbuster story–ducked by mainstream media—That will make everyone who hears this broadcast ask (no matter what your political beliefs): What kind of incompetents are running this war on terror, and whose side are they on????

There is no doubt that Jack Idema was on the ground leading American and Afghan military units in the front lines in Afghanistan.

There is no doubt that he was one of the most proven effective weapons we had there.

There is no doubt that all his actions were vetted through and supported by the U.S. goverment.

There is no doubt that he is beloved by the Northern Alliance troops now protecting him in one of the deadliest prisons on the face of the earth, whom even arranged for his direct interview with the Expert Witness Show, via a cell phone in his prison cell.

There is no doubt that large numbers of American military on the ground in the Middle East and in Afghanistan, and covert operatives, support Jack Idema.

Then why does the US government in general and the FBI in particular want to keep him shut up in an Afghan prison in spite of the fact that trial that ended with his jail sentence was, as Peter Bergen the acclaimed CNN journalist described it: a comic mess more like a comedy directed by Woody Allen than a trial?

There is also no doubt that if one examines the facts in the Jack Idema affair, one must come away with the conclusion that, whatever is going on in Afghanistan, it is a sign that our leaders have learned absolutely nothing from 9-11 and that our young men are being sent to fight and die for empty suits and politicians who should be running Bingo games and not war.

The big question is: Why is mainstream media either ignoring this story or making light of it?
