Grey Eagle still under attack
Many of you responded to the first call for help from my wonderful co-blogger Anna with a massive blogswarm of links, messages of encouragement and offers of help for Grey Eagle of A Female Soldier 2.
I just thought some of you may be interested to know, the sad saga continues…
I HAVE HAD IT!
It was brought to my attention that my polls had been changed. When I went there, I was completely shocked by all the questions. Once again, it was originally designed to offer a voice in things. And once again it was abused. Do you people think that this is cute, or just hell-bent on trying to get me into trouble? Did I do something so offensive to you personally that you feel the need to attack me in such a personal way? Currently someone has offered to completely redesign this website with built in security. I cannot tell you how happy I am with that. To finally have a website where I can post my stories, and have visitors who do not have to contend with your hacks on soldier’s tributes, insulting people with changing the polls, and the many other things you have done to this website. I know that this isn’t the most secure website, I didn’t realize that it was going be such a requirement when I designed it. I was obviously wrong. I wish to personally say I am sorry to anyone who has had to read or endure the messages or polls that may have been offensive on this website. You will note that the units have been removed from the menu in addition to the polls for the same security reasons. As upset and humilitaed as I am, I am not going to quit. I am not going to abandon this project, or terminate the website. I will learn, improve, adapt, and overcome your childish attacks. I should have known as soon as I saw that you were coming back out of hiding to resume posting your hateful and spiteful comments that something like this would occur.
I will hope and pray this will be the last time I have to post another message like this. But if not, know that I will not be defeated. I will not let your emails refering to me as a “baby killer”, your calls for me to walk away from my duties, your questioning of my loyality to this county discourage me. I will not let your small minded attacks to my website deny me my voice, I have earned that right. And I will not continue to allow you to insult the visitors who come to this website to read or learn about life here. This is not a political website so please refrain from making it one. I will begin to delete your comments, I will backup this website so as to overcome your attacks, and I will await the completion of the new website.

Jeez-a-loo!
I’m working on getting Jack out and I see this? Do people not have conscience’s anymore. I am so sorry that we have to feel this way about a great country. What can we do to help? Thanks to Cao and the vigilance.

The Vile Left Still Attacking Grey Eagle!
She is a wife, a mother, a soldier. She is fighting for you, for me, for America, for the Iraq’s to know freedom too, and God help us she is even fighting for the low life scum the LEFTIES that are attacking her.
November 30th, 2005 at 11:58 am
Oh my god,
Are we just gonna regurgitate everything that gets tossed our way? For all you morons, here’s the deal: World War 2, Korea and Vietnam started because one country was attacking another. The Cuban Missile Crises started on photo’s (solid evidence) of a nuclear program. The first gulf war was started because of an aggressive action taken by So Damn Insane (again, solid evidence), even Afghanistan was justified on solid evidence that the Taliban and Al-Quaida were in bed together. SO PLEASE, WHAT WAS THE RUSH WITH IRAQ??! Stop using ideology and religious fanaticism to justify your actions. Use logic and common sense! America does not go to war based on assumptions, or half-evidence. Do you really think Joe Wilson was in bed with terrorists when he said the Uranium stories were fake? If you do, you belong with the terrorists because your fanatacism is the same as theirs.
November 30th, 2005 at 1:40 pm
rod, like I really beleive Joe Wilson,it has been proven that he is a liar and he also broke the law and his *** should be in jail.He was also against what went on in Afganistan,he and the rest of the elites who after the twin towers came down the same people were one haveing round table discussions about why do they hate us and wanted to give them therapy and all that nonsennse.Hell,if remember the same media was saying we would be defeated in Afganistan wanting it to be another Vietnam. The troops went in there and took over after a month. But,I think you had better start following this story on Mr.Idema, the government and the media again is messing this up.After 9/11 ever beaurocrat at state, the FBI,CIA,and others should have gone to jail or got pink slips, instead many of these people are still there,no accountability. That ain’t smart! That was one of Bush’s big errors that he still hasn’t corrected. If I was running a business and I kept incompentent boobs on like this I would be out of business pronto.I hate to brake to you but this modern set of Democrats are nothing but a whining, silly, cowardly, and treasonous bunch who have nothing in common with FDR’s foreign policy,he would’ve have had to jail Boxer,Reid,Kerry, and Kennedy, for treason. These losers doon’t care about wining anything of value and then they mistakenly think that we the American people are willing to trust something this big in their hands?no thank you, they had their chance they blew it and continue to blow it.But,I’m not to impressed with the GOP right now either, they have been either two slow to respond or they give the wrong responses to this situation.I don’t like that either and it is time we stop abandining good people like the Northern Alliance and Mr. Edema and his comrades for doing their jobs,I know one thing I’m going to do everything I can to put pressure on the government to stop this footdragging in this case.
November 30th, 2005 at 2:47 pm
Thank you for keeping up the site despite the abuse you have suffered at the hands of the ignorant and narrow minded. You’re doing a great job saying things that NEED to be said. Keep up the good work.
December 1st, 2005 at 8:38 am
OK,
NOBODY HERE HAS ANY RIGHT TO QUESTION ANYBODY WHO HAS FOUGHT AND GIVEN THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY. NOT KERRY, NOT MURTHA…NOBODY. UNLESS YOU ARE A VETERAN YOURSELF OR CURRENTLY ON DUTY, SHUT UP!
December 1st, 2005 at 9:59 am
Rod — stop screaming using CAPS — you’re neither a Vet nor currently serving; I can tell by your ignorance about wars in post #2 … so, you can now shut that hole in your face.
December 1st, 2005 at 11:19 am
Yes Sg. Yatahey,
Maybe the caps were a bit too strong. Not my intention to scream. However, can you prove me wrong with regard to my knowledge of wars? Please explain what is not true. If you’re going to call people ignorant, prove it. If not, i suggest you shut your hole and prove your point. Now tell me again, how can people who have never served really served question those that have. You know, as I do that Vietnam and this war in Iraq has the lowest support among the public and the troops that I have ever seen. Why do you think this is so? Oh, I get it, the terrorists or communists or whatever fake force you want to call it have brainwashed us. That MUST be it, right? This is not a question of supporting the troops. This is a question of the moral reasons behind war.
December 1st, 2005 at 1:49 pm
Yes; I will prove you ABSOLUTELY WRONG about your alleged knowledge of wars (skirmishes) we’ve been involved in, as soon as I get back from a few errands.
You’ve yet to PROVE TO ME OR ANYONE ELSE beyond any doubt you’re in the military, or ever served … so, don’t sit there Sweetheart and tell me to shut my hole, you sanctimonious Leftie-Loving Communist Fucktard!
December 1st, 2005 at 3:37 pm
You said — “For all you morons, here’s the deal: World War 2, Korea and Vietnam started because one country was attacking another. The Cuban Missile Crises started on photo’s (solid evidence) of a nuclear program.”
Okay, MORON — I’m going to educate your young, dumbass to prove you don’t know jack-**** and didn’t pay attention in class about History — this will also prove you’re nothing more than a young, mouthy-*** PUNK who has NEVER served in our military, and you’re NOT currently serving either … so pay close attention; you might overload your ONE BRAINCELL and actually learn something:

*** THE CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS ***
The Cuban Missile Crisis of October 1962 was one of the turning points of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. At that time the two superpowers came close to war, (NOT ONE COUNTRY ATTACKING ANOTHER!) “possibly” with nuclear weapons; after that, both countries began to seek ways to adjust to each other, in particular, to prevent the use of nuclear weapons.
The Cuban Missile Crisis was a tense confrontation … (AGAIN — NOT ONE COUNTRY ATTACKING ANOTHER!) between the Soviet Union and the United States over the Soviet deployment of nuclear missiles in Cuba. The crisis began on October 14, 1962 and lasted for 38 days until November 20, 1962. It is regarded as the moment when the Cold War was closest to turning into a nuclear war, which “could have resulted in World War III”. Russians refer to the Cuban Missile Crisis as the “Caribbean Crisis” and Cubans refer to it as the “October Crisis”.
Nikita Khrushchev sent letters to President Kennedy claiming the deterrent nature of the missiles in Cuba and the peaceful intentions of the Soviet Union; however, the Soviets had delivered two different deals to the US government … the first deal they offered was to withdraw the missiles in return for a U.S. guarantee not to invade Cuba or support any invasion … the second deal was broadcast on public radio on October 27, calling for the withdrawal of U.S. missiles from Turkey.
The crisis peaked when a U-2 (piloted by Rudolph Anderson) was shot down over Cuba and another U-2 flight over Russia was almost intercepted. At the same time, Soviet merchant ships were nearing the quarantine zone. President Kennedy responded by publicly accepting the first deal and sending Robert Kennedy to the Soviet embassy to accept the second in private that the fifteen Jupiter missiles near Izmir, Turkey would be removed. The Soviet ships turned back and Khrushchev announced that he had ordered the removal of the Soviet missiles in Cuba.

*** THE VIET-NAM WAR ***
On September 2, 1945, Ho Chi Minh spoke at a ceremony heralding an independent Vietnam. In his speech he cited the American Declaration of Independence and a band played “The Star Spangled Banner.” Minh had hoped that the United States would be an ally of a Vietnamese independence movement based on speeches by U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt against the continuation of European imperialism after World War II … however, the death of President Roosevelt; the development of the Cold War; and Ho’s Communist sympathies led to U.S. support being given to the French.
The Vietnam War or Second Indochina War 1 was a conflict between the The Democratic Republic of Vietnam (DRVN), or less commonly, Vietnamese Democratic Republic, also known as North Vietnam, was founded by Ho Chi Minh and was recognized by the People’s Republic of China and the Soviet Union in 1950.
In 1954 after the defeat of France at the Battle of Dien Bien Phu, France formally recognized the DRV and the country was partitioned in two by the Demilitarised Zone (or DMZ at the 17th parallel). North Vietnam was a Communist state, the first in Southeast Asia.
(DRVN, or North Vietnam), allied with the National Liberation Front The National Front for the Liberation of Southern Vietnam, also known as the Viet Cong (VC), the National Liberation Front (NLF), was the primary rebel (partisans) organization fighting the colonialist French regime and later the US-backed Republic of Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
The Vietnam War began as a civil war — fought to determine the status of Vietnam as either a unified nation or as one partitioned indefinitely into two independent states. Some consider this Cold War-era conflict to have been a proxy war between the United States and its Western democratic allies and the Communist powers of the People’s Republic of China and the Soviet Union.
South Vietnam - and allies such as the U.S. - portrayed the conflict as one based in a principled and strategic opposition to communism, to deter its expansion throughout Southeast Asia and elsewhere. North Vietnam and its Viet Cong allies claimed the war as a struggle to reunite the country and to repel a foreign aggressor - virtually a continuation of the earlier war for independence against the French.
The U.S. involvement in the war has been described as an escalation. This is typically meant to refer to the incremental increase in forces in response to greater need, rather than an intentional strategy … however a key element was that there was no traditional declaration of war which would have involved a national commitment to using all available means to secure victory.
Instead, U.S. involvement increased over several years, beginning with the deployment of noncombatant military advisors to the South Vietnamese army, followed by the use of special forces for commando-style operations; followed by the introduction of regular troops for defensive purposes, until regular troops were used in offensive combat. Once U.S. troops were engaged in active combat, escalation meant increasing their numbers.
The escalation of the war complicated its legal status … the treaty agreements between the U.S. and South Vietnam allowed each escalation to be seen as simply another step in helping an ally resist Communist aggression.
This allowed the U.S. Congress to vote appropriations for war operations without requiring the Johnson Administration to meet the Constitutionally mandated requirement that Congress declare war.

Whaddya expect, Yat? His IP address is in AMSTERDAM. This is a poser–obviously. And not a very smart one, at that. It’s pretty easy to recognize the leftist stupidity of Eurowheenies…what’s interesting is they talk like they’re Americans but they’re nowhere near the United States. I think those things are somehow conflicting.
Yes, you can question someone’s service when the records don’t look right, particularly when in the case of John Kerry, he used 4 months and a bandaid as the cornerstone of his election campaign. I guess he thought his 20+ years in the Senate was embarrassing…and it is, upon close examination.
You have to wonder how a guy like Murtha could oppose the war–and who is putting pressure on him to join the ranks of the Revolutionary Communist Party–the World’s Workers Party, the International Socialist Organization, the Nazi Party, Code Pink, and all the rest of the front organizations who support the efforts of Cindy Sheehan and her buddies…and it would appear that Murtha has jumped onto that bandwagon. It’s a loser bandwagon, in my estimation.

“Eurowheenies” — LOL; I LOVE IT!

December 2nd, 2005 at 4:30 am
Ha, ha, ha
Hey “SSgt” Yatehey, or should I say “SS” Yatehey! You’re so ignorant you probably don’t even understand the joke. By the way, when you get past your grade 3 reading skills, maybe you’ll realize that I never said that there was a war between the US and Cuba, only that the crises started because of photographic evidence showing that Cuba was building Soviet-supplied nuclear missile silo’s. And where in your elongated description of the Vietnam conflict do you prove me wrong?
Oh and by the way, I am an American, based in Europe, trying to learn a bit about this world I live in, not like you hicks that never got off the farm.
December 2nd, 2005 at 5:12 am
You didn’t say anything about the Cuba Missile Crisis starting because of “photographic evidence showing that Cuba was building Soviet-supplied nuclear missile silo’s.” until just now.
Does it make you feel like a big man to call people who aren’t eurowheenie elitists “hicks that never got off the farm”?
I suppose that’s evidence that you can’t defend yourself with facts so now you’re resorting to insults. That kind of approach is not going to win you any points over here.
Good job, Yatahey, it didn’t take you long to get the guy to start name calling. He was yelling in all caps early on in the game,
-looks like he has a low tolerance for toothless rednecks !~
As far as your “being an American” and living in Europe, I am consistently amazed at people who write from the Netherlands but never making mention of the tensions caused there by Islamofascists who murderered Theo Van Gogh for making his movie “submission”. You just ignore what’s going with all countries–in order to support your thoughtless agenda against America.
How is it that you’re “learning about the world” again? By leaving the States we’re supposed to believe that’s what you’re doing? C’mon. You can do better than that.
You give no one else any credit for intelligence and that proves you’re just narrow minded…not to mention–it’s cool to say what the rich people say even if it makes absolutely no sense.
Saying that you’re an American when you’re living in Europe talking like one of those beret wearing Gauloises smoking cafe haus communists doesn’t prove a thing in my book.
Tell me. If you “love” America - which apparently depends on what the meaning of “love” is - do you love America as much as you love bin Laden and Castro?
December 2nd, 2005 at 7:28 am
Dude,
First off, re-read my original post and you will see that I did say “photos”. Secondly, this has nothing to do with “loving” America. I’m not out to put anyone down, other than the nazi sergeant you have spewing off garbage. I just don’t understand why you guys think that anyone who questions what is going on must be categorized as a traitor. The world is changing, its no longer us vs. communists. Rather its us vs. islamic extremist fuckheads. But let me ask you this, how did these fuckheads actually get to where they are? Nothing would give me more pleasure than to chain everyone of those guys up and pour acid over them. In fact, I’ve already had my fair share of run-ins with like-minded scum here in Europe, not pleasant. Most of them are extremely fucked up. Very aggressive and cheap. They will not fight man on man. Yes, I think we needed to go to Afghanistan and do what we did. So did the rest of the world. Actually, there’s a large multinational contingent there. Iraq is another story altogether. It was sold to us, wrapped in the flag. That’s what I despise. If we really want to change this religious extremism, we need to fully understand what underlines it. Why would somebody blow themselves up for a god they’ve never seen? They must be desperate….
December 2nd, 2005 at 8:02 am
You first stated this precisely — “World War 2, Korea and Vietnam started because one country was attacking another. The Cuban Missile Crises started on photo’s (solid evidence) of a nuclear program.”
You can’t handle it, because I proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are still blatantly wrong, and ignorant, in claiming those wars were started because one country was attacking another … you obviously didn’t catch the other proof about the Cuban Missile Crises — it did NOT start based on any photo’s (solid evidence) of a nuclear program.
No, ya little Leftie-Loving Communist douche-bag breath, I didn’t take your grade school post as a joke.
“I am an American, based in Europe, trying to learn a bit about this world I live in.”
Again — with such an ignorant, Moonbat statement like that, I’m glad you’re in Europe and still learning about the world you live in — perhaps you should invest in a larger bubble, so you can move around and look in all directions, as your gyroscope is not in sync with your one braincell.
Yep — Cao is right — I can smell a filthy Communist a long ways off, and I have the ability to get MORONS LIKE YOU to start the name-calling, due to blatant ignorance; no class; no education; and low self-esteem … enjoy your like-minded scum there in Europe; I’m sure they love having another natural-born lunatic idiot in their midst.
BTW, Twinkle-toes … Cao is not a “Dude”.
Signed…

This is just too hilarious.
I don’t particularly care what you’re saying here, Rod. You’re wrong about just about everything you’re saying here and I don’t think it even deserves a response beyond that which Yatahey has already served you on a silver platter.
Yat, I read this over several times this afternoon and just about busted a blood vessel laughing.
Hey, y’all, wudja pass me some of that moonshine and fill up this mason jar soze I kin git a little tanked up? I mean it’s gawna take an altered state of conshisniss ter anser this idjit!
