Afghanistan reopens border to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Dec 2 (Reuters) - Pakistani security forces closed the country’s main border crossing on the western frontier with Afghanistan after both sides accused each other of beating up their soldiers, officials said on Friday.

That article is almost comical. One side does one thing to the other, the other side retaliates. Where will it end?

Pakistan beefed up security along the border in late 2001 to help U.S. backed forces hunting al Qaeda militants in Afghanistan.

Many Taliban fighters fled to Pakistan, along with al Qaeda members, after their government was ousted in Afghanistan, and they have been running an insurgency against the government of President Hamid Karzai for the past four years.

Oh, I get it! Now that Karzai has decided that “all’s forgiven”, the Taliban and Al Qaeda fighters will be allowed back into the country. Notice the recent CAR BOMBINGS.

ISLAMABAD, Dec. 3 (Xinhuanet) – Pakistan and Afghanistan reopened their border on Saturday after successful negotiations between the border security authorities, a senior Pakistani security official said.

So they open the border back up. They might as well roll out the red carpet and slaughter some sheep.

The DEBKAfile reported on this problem back in June.

The biggest refugee repatriation operation in the world is underway. It is the cover for Pakistan’s mass-export of al Qaeda operatives back to where they came from – Afghanistan.

The DEBKAfile also talks about the problems with terrorist attacks because of this “repatriation” project–and this article was put out in JUNE.

Now it makes perfect sense to me that they put Idema away (as a political prisoner), Jack would be out there hunting them down.
