Flight 93 Memorial ACTION ALERT: Stop the terrorist-memorial mosque!

Read it at Error Theory–here is part of the update. The truth is, people were not told what the real design represented, as I had mentioned in the comments on the previous discussion threads on the previous posts here regarding this horrible travesty of a memorial to the Flight 93 victims.
Here is where that is unequivocally proven that jihadists were on the verge of hijacking flight 93 ONE MORE TIME - in the memorial to the victims. This is from Alec Rawls at Error Theory and an update to the story is at the bottom.
After my online exposé of the phony redesign brought the Project a storm of negative feedback in December, the Memorial Project contacted me. I learned from our discussions that no one involved in the Project had ever investigated the Mecca-orientation of Murdoch’s giant crescent, despite the hundreds of warnings that people had sent back in September. “Everything faces somewhere,” said the Project’s publicity manager Chris Martin. When I asked Project Manager Jeff Reinbold if he had ever investigated the Mecca-orientation of the crescent he said they had “talked about the possible Islamic symbolism of the crescent” and “asked the architect about it.”
I finally managed to get Reinbold and Superintendent Joanne Hanley to agree to let me to walk them through a few of the Islamic and Jihadist features of Murdoch’s design and how to verify them, but I had only started to explain how to analyze the orientation of the crescent when Hanley announced that it was improper for her to listen to this information without the Flight 93 families, who had been involved in every step of the decision-making process, hearing the information at the same time!
Oh isn’t that just terrific? The families never had the design explained to them from the standpoint of what it actually means from the murders’ perspective. What the hell kind of ‘memorial’ is the winning architect erecting? Why, it’s a memorial to the murderers-and a travesty for the victims for which I had thought the memorial was intended.
She asked if I could write up a report that could be presented to the entire Project and for the last two months have been trying to work through the Project’s internal processes to get the Project to investigate the untoward aspects of Murdoch’s design.
Hanley reneged on letting me present the report to Flight 93 jurors, and she never investigated the information that my report contained. Two weeks ago she sent a letter asserting that my claims “lack factual basis,” without citing a single inaccuracy in the 55 pages of factual analysis that I gave her. Since then I have been trying to warn Secretary Norton directly that the Memorial Project has refused to investigate what is in effect a second hijacking of Flight 93 by the jihadists. She needs to exercise her specified oversight role here, but every attempt to reach Norton has simply been routed back to Hanley, who is now about to affix Norton’s name to this abomination.
Error theory has contact information and sample letters, it’s a good thing to keep the heat on these people because they’re covering their ears and pretending they don’t hear the points made.
UPDATE: Opposition to the barely-altered Crescent of Embrace design for the Flight 93 Memorial took a significant step forward yesterday at the National Park Service meeting in Somerset.
The Mecca orientation of the giant crescent in both the original Crescent of Embrace design and the redesign.
Thanks to Bill Steiner and his Western Pennsylvania compatriots, the five short exhibits posted below were distributed on flyers to almost everyone in attendance, as was another set of flyers that Bill composed himself. (A compilation of Bill’s materials, with all the flyers, is available here.)
We managed to alert a couple of local reporters to the Mecca-orientation of the original crescent; to the continued presence of this crescent in the redesign; and to the fact that a crescent that people face into to face Mecca is the central feature around which every mosque is built. One reporter said he can make time this week for me to show him how to verify the Mecca-orientation of the crescent, and Bill is going to be interviewed by WJAC TV in Johnstown Pennsylvania tomorrow. Many people associated with the Project never heard word-one about the hundreds of warnings the Project received about the Mecca-oriented crescent, about the 44 glass blocks on the flight path, etcetera, and were shocked to look at our information.
Already the list of Western Pennsylvania allies is growing. The next step is to grow further by having people canvass their fire departments, their churches, their shooting ranges and their downtowns with our flyers, talking to people and explaining the untoward elements of the crescent design. We are attempting to generate, not just a blogstorm, but a GROUND army of Davids.
Interestingly, there expected announcement of final approval for the crescent design never came. Did our advance contact with reporters, who read our information and were doing advance interviews, scare the announcement off? Did the twenty minutes I spent explaining the design’s terrorist-memorializing features to one of Interior’s communications officers have some effect? After all, I did send him proof (below), and they have had my full 55 page report for a month.
If this thing cracks, it will be a dam break. END UPDATE.
Let’s hope it does. Post references to Error Theory on your blogs, folks.
Forty-four dead people, forty-four translucent blocks on the flight path original post is here, but this part of the design remains identical so it still applies.

From redesign announcement. Identical to original design. The upper section of memorial wall, seen to the right, is centered precisely on the large red maple crescent and contains additional translucent blocks, in addition to the forty on the lower wall that memorialize the murdered Americans.
If the Crescent of Embrace is not a memorial to the terrorists who downed Flight 93, why does it contain 44 translucent blocks, instead of just the forty inscribed to memorialize the forty murdered Americans?
Passengers and flight crew are memorialized with the translucent blocks on the left.
The lower portion of the wall, on the left, contains forty translucent blocks, backlit at night, and inscribed with the names of the forty murdered Americans. There is also an an upper section of wall, continuing up the flight path that Flight 93 followed as it came into the crash site. Notice that this section of wall also contains a strip of translucent blocks, a shorter strip, just long enough to memorialize a small handful of people, like maybe the four terrorists who also died in the crash.
Confirmation comes from noting that the center point of the upper section of the memorial wall lies exactly (to the pixel) on the line that bisects the red maple crescent. This clearly established at the outset that this upper wall is indeed a separate sub-memorial to the terrorists.
Let’s make this a torrential downpour raining on these people- write letters, make phone calls. Do what you have to do. He makes it easy in this post–contact information is provided, as well as a sample letter.

You really have to wonder what kind of sick imagination dreams this sort of thing up, don’t you? I mean, giant gravestones for terrorists?

When I read over some of the analysis of the different points and why it’s actually a memorial to the terrorists, I am appalled and angered. The fact that the “redesign” is practically identical to the original is of deep concern, and the fact that the families of the victims weren’t notified of any of this is even worse.
