TGIF!

Thank God I’m FREE! Thanks to guys like Jack Idema.

C’mon and trackback! Put up a post that you think deserves some special attention from this past week.

Watch for Open Trackbacks here on Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays.

Here is the trackback link to this post:

http://caosblog.com/2873/trackback/

To trackback to any post just use the post slug or “permalink” and add trackback/ to the end of it.

One other thing.

I will be deleting trackbacks when the posts don’t show that you’ve linked here. Make sure you do as I did, below–either saying thanks to Cao’s blog and linking to this post, or mention that I have a trackback party, and link to this post. Otherwise the trackback will be deleted.

If you are unable to send trackbacks, then use the Wizbang Standalone Trackback Pinger.

  8. Ben Says:

Hey, Cao, can you make a summary/synopsis post about Idema? I’m somewhat confused coming into the middle…

  9. Cao Says:

Ben, you could take a look at any of the Blogburst posts and see a general synopsis–I have over 140 posts here on Jack Idema in the Task Force Sabre 7 Section.

To distill it down to a few sentences: Jack and his men went over to Afghanistan in order to get some intelligence from some terrorists, which is Jack’s specialty–HUMINT and Counter Terrorist Operations. At the same time, the American government backed Karzai–who is a Pashtun and virtually Taliban. As people could see very early on, Karzai has been concerned about his “taliban brothers” and at the point where Jack arrested Judge Sidiq, who was connected with Hekmatyar and by extension, Bin Laden. The FBI put a wanted poster out on Jack, and he and his men were lured, disarmed, arrested and then tortured, (with the FBI laughing in the hallway)-they were tried by a Taliban court and found guilty, sentenced to 10 years (Brent and Jack), Ed 8 years. They were re-tried by a second court and found innocent, but not one reporter reported that a) they had been tortured when they were arrested b) that they were found guilty by the taliban and c) that they were found innocent of all the charges in a trial de novo or d) that they had connections on both sides–with the Afghans, the American Government, DOD, State Department, FBI, etc.

The DOD has stated that they didn’t know anything about what Jack was doing. That is a pile…and some of the evidence is right here at this blog.

Now we’d like to know why they’re still being held, since they were declared innocent by a second court.

It’s a huge story, doesn’t seem like a single journalist has touched it–except for the lefty ones who want to call him a rogue renegade wannabe special forces guy. He has 27 years in Counter Terrorist Operations, which is one reason why Special Forces guys got sick and tired of what bloggers and journalists were saying, so they put up the Superpatriots.us website.
