uuummm….Lisa…I think Cao went to Columbia, right????

    (running, ducking and hiding)

  14. Cao Says:

hehehe…grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois, went to Maine South High School (also Park Ridge, Illinois), had children young and have had some college.

At some point…if I can get over the liberals pontificating in Art School (fat chance)…I will finish my degree in Communications…but certainly not at Columbia U. With the sorry state of the Universities today in view of the fact that liberals are using the classroom as their political soap boxes, in addition to ‘hate speech’ and ‘code words’ and targeting conservatives…I think I may never go back….but will instead continue my pursuit of other ways to continue my education.

I never stop learning, and I’m a voracious reader.

Thanks, Yat, you trip me out.

And Kender, you SHOULD be ducking…

  15. TD Says:

Cao, you just don’t realize how much fun you can have as an adult in a Bachelor’s program. I went back to complete my degree at 40, had the BEST TIME in my PoliSci 101 class, a lib professor. Did a paper on media bias before it became fashionable, then later caught him and his newborn in the cafe once and tried to teach the child to say “Ditto’s, Rush!”. It can be a hoot, Cao, especially since as an adult, you won’t be easily intimidated.

  16. Cao Says:

I was intimidated by my slipper-wearing slob of a professor in an anthropology class in art school. His wife was a judge; equally as liberal. That was a good portion of my education as an adult with conservative views in a Bachelor’s program at art school–trying to finish what I love.

He talked about the Bush administration and politics (which had nothing to do with what he was teaching about) and…it was just awful. As a conservative in the classroom, he tried to make a point of humiliating me in front of my peers. He didn’t get away with it, needless to say, but…That was not the place for such a discussion and when we had the opportunity to ‘rate’ the professor, I clearly spelled it out in my comments.

Needless to say, I have a pretty thick skin, but that guy made a huge impression on me as far as what’s going on at Universities today…

I’ve concluded there are other ways to ’skin a cat’…

  17. jcrue Says:

great dig on Stephen Pearcy…i must resist the urge to write him and tell him about the video.

who wants that idiot to infect their blog again?

  18. Cao Says:

I sure don’t want him coming back…but he has a whole fan club that is still complaining about my ‘treason hunter’s contest’…forgetting about his ‘art exhibits’ and his lawsuits…and his standing on street corners with signs and trying to get interviews. These nuts claim I am–all by myself— responsible for his receiving harrassing phone calls. Kind of a stretch, but they’re making weird connections to things that are unrelated all the time.

According to these same nuts, I’ve also threatened John Kerry’s life. The allegations they’ve made against me are not only beyond the pale, they’re completely false.

All they do is whine, cry, and beat their spoons on their high chairs, trying to get a reaction. Must be that this behavior has been rewarded some time during their lives and they think it will get them somewhere.

I’m going to have to order a case of pacifiers…
