Friday OTB
TGIF!
Thank God I’m FREE! Thanks to guys like Jack Idema.

C’mon and trackback! Put up a post that you think deserves some special attention from this past week.
Watch for Open Trackbacks here on Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays.
Here’s the link:

Here is the trackback link to this post:
http://caosblog.com/3035/trackback/
To trackback to any post just use the post slug or “permalink” and add trackback/ to the end of it.
One other thing.
I will be deleting trackbacks when the posts don’t show that you’ve linked here. Make sure you do as I did, below–either saying thanks to Cao’s blog and linking to this post, or mention that I have a trackback party, and link to this post. Otherwise the trackback will be deleted.
If you are unable to send trackbacks, then use the Wizbang Standalone Trackback Pinger.

Suck Those Lemons Bee-atch
Of course, I’m speaking to Cindy Sheehan and every other “freedom fighter” supporter out there. And, this is regarding the fact that some Canadian soldiers kicked some Taliban a$$ by capturing some of their fighters. Suck that! Boo-Yah! Lol. The…

Cloning scientist indicted
Don’t expect much in the way of a sentence for Hwang. He is a national embarassment to the ROK but much worse criminals have gotten off with virtual wrist slaps. Take for instance this businessman. If he only got 10.5 years for allowing 500 people to…

Caosblog,
I wonder how you set up wordpress to create the open trackbacks. Can you offer some suggestions?

UK Girl age 11 - Youngest Mother
It started with a drunken night out with friends (and I use that term very lightly). In the end a 15 year old impregnates an 11 year old who is now 8 months pregnant.
A girl is to become Britain’s youngest mother after becoming pregnant at 11.

It’s a plugin.
Hope that helps. I think Kit at Euphoric Reality knows how to do it–I usually get Lisa from Elegant Webscapes to help me…since they help me with the technical aspects of the blog.

Wherever something is underlined and a slightly different color than the rest of a comment text there is a link there. I provided a link when I said ‘it’s a plugin’. But that’s ok, glad you found what you needed.

I knew that… I wasn’t really clear in the post after having read it again. I clicked on the link and it went to a song file. But the name you gave me really helped. Much appreciated. Appreicate the blog as well. Thanks

Wow, how embarrassing. I should have checked the link, it is, just as you say - to a song!
The link I thought I gave you is here, to wordpress.org where there is a discussion of what they term as ‘inline trackbacks’.
Back when all trackbacks were counted in the TTLB ecosystem, and everyone was doing trackback parties to gain more visibility, I wanted to be a part of that. Not so much because it helped with climbing in the ecosphere, but because it gives smaller blogs the capability of getting more traffic.
Now that the Ecosystem ranks things differently, I’m continuing with the parties for that same reason.
Good luck with getting the associated plugin to work!
Thanks for commenting! ~Cao.
