When you steal from a former SF soldier and Milblogger…you’ve got a problem
Happy Memorial Day weekend, folks, the left has chosen to launch another anti-war offensive and this time with a stolen photograph from one of the most famous milbloggers around; Michael Yon.
Blackfive and Michelle Malkin are talking about Shock Magazine’s ripping off Michael Yon’s copyrighted infamous picture of the soldier holding and comforting a dying Iraqi child.
It must be noted that SHOCK is running that photo to make a political point. And it’s not the kind of anti-war commie political point that we supporters of the United States, the WOT, our military and in particular, SF appreciate.
What can we do? Well there are several things.
The publisher of “Shock” magazine is HFM, as Michael Yon points out, and is one of the largest media conglomerates in the world–with over 200 magazines and newspapers in 33 countries. This is a specially-timed Memorial Day weekend major anti-war offensive they’ve launched with the illegal use of Michaell’s photograph, and the initial print run will be 300,000.
HFM’s contact number is (212) 767-6000.
And you can email Shock at shock@neodata.com and inbox@shocku.com.
The content of this vile tabloid aside from the political grandstanding with a stolen copyrighted image- is disgusting.
