More campus support for terror
I had downloaded this from somewhere and was going through my files, and just watched it again. I wish I had put down the site I got it from, though.
It’s Joe Scarborough from Scarborough Country - and in it, Scarborough talks with a couple of University of Washington students about the Pappy Boyington memorial that was proposed.
They have a memorial up to recognize communists (The Abraham Lincoln Brigade; most of the people making up the Abraham Lincoln Brigade were official members of the Communist Party USA ); but there were students at the University of Washington who refused to recognize an alumni who was a marine WWII hero with his own memorial on campus. Apparently they think that ‘all war’ is wrong…and that everything is grey area-and there is no cause worth going to war over. Absolutely astonishing.
It’s old news, but I still think it’s appropriate to post and have people watch consider these horrible times and the anti-military sentiments on our college campuses today. I don’t remember it ever being this bad.
Now take a look at the rhetoric this student comes up with to defend his position.

There is more to the Abraham Lincoln Brigade than just “they were communists”
A vote of 45-45 by the student senate really makes me think that all college kids are terrorist supporters.

these kids were made stupid by the flower children opf the 60’s,if they think all war’s is bad how come these pea brains associate with communism and pacifism ideas that have death written all over them.Theye can’t anme any great p0acicists in history,and I bet also that they couldn’t find Raubaul or any the places where this great Marine faught.This man spent two years in the Japanese POW camp which made what he have at GITMO paradise.What do the kids know,when they come out of the protected confines of college campi they are in for a rude awakening!They couldn’t take care of themselves in a drastic situatuion when the rubber meats the road.I also believe that if another of our planes were hijacked,they wouldn’t try and stop the bad guys,they would try and talk and then a box cutter would be near their throats!I know if I ran a business I wouldn’t fool with this bunch of loses under any circumstaances!@:mad:
