Sunday OTB
It’s Sunday, folks, say a prayer for the American POWs in Afghanistan, that they’ll be kept safe and alive until that one day soon when they’re released.

C’mon and trackback! Put up a post that you think deserves some special attention from this past week.
Watch for Open Trackbacks here on Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays.

To trackback to any post just use the post slug or “permalink” and add trackback/ to the end of it.
One other thing.
I will be deleting trackbacks when the posts don’t show that you’ve linked here. Make sure you do as I did, below–either saying thanks to Cao’s blog and linking to this post, or mention that I have a trackback party, and link to this post. Otherwise the trackback will be deleted.
If you are unable to send trackbacks, then use the Wizbang Standalone Trackback Pinger.

My favorite cover songs
“Cover songs” have a checkered history. In the 1950s, Pat Boone earned a living covering Little Richard tunes that were considered too racy. But there have been good ones. Here is a countdown of my favorites.

Nobody Cares About Soldiers
Yesterday an American Soldier told me that nobody cares about Soldiers. There wasn’t the tiniest hint of self-pity in his words. It was stated as fact, just simple cynical fact.
Me, being me, declared ‘YES they do. Many people do. The AMERI…
