Steve Irwin died in a bizarre tangle with a sting ray
Per Justin at Right on the Right–I kid you not, but the story is practically unbelievable.
Mr Irwin, 44, was killed by a stingray barb to the chest while he was filming an underwater documentary in Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef.

Considering the whackie stuff I’ve seen him do, I couldn’t help but wonder how long he would stay alive considering the nasty animals he faced on camera.
He and his wife were adorable together…this is sad news, the guy was only 44.

Australia has lost a national treasure. You couldn’t see this guy but that you couldn’t like him and his wife and kids and wish you could be his friend.
And he was a staunch supporter of John Howard.

Steve Irwin died Sept. 1, 2006 when he was stung by a bull stingray while filming at Batt Reef off the northeast coast of Queensland, Australia.

Every once in a while a physical form leaves us to return to the spirit - An enormous influence and enlightening soul that no matter what your outside color is - the loss will pull on your heart string.
The lesson he leaves is to not be afraid of any creature that dwells among us - To embrace, appreciate and Love them all.
But be wise and don’t get too Damn Close!

I am sorry to see Steve Irwin go.
Lets keep in mind that he was constantly putting himself at risk and I think that he beleived that he had an uncanny ability to influence animal behaviour and that he could control animals in any situation.
Guess he was wrong. Oops!

I think steve irwin was a christian although i am not sure. he was brave heroic and there will never be any1 like him

I miss him he used to play on the Wiggles Show I like him because he was funny. When I was at my Mi Mi’s Day Care we used to watch him, and when the the music went on at the end of the show we would dance around the table and when the music stopped we stopped walking around the table and we would make a noise and we would keep on doing it. My Mi Mi would watch us dance around the table and stop. We would keep on doing it untilthe video was over. It is sad that he got stung by a sting ray I bet Bindi is sad I miss him so much
