Terrorists take journalist hostage, demanding the return of the apostate Abdul Rahman
Remember that story from a while back about the man who’d converted to Christianity 16 years ago in Afghanistan who was sentenced to death for being an ‘apostate’? He was quickly spirited out of Afghanistan and took asylum in Italy.

Back then, the ‘religion of peace’ wanted him to come back to Islam, then all would be forgiven. But he wouldn’t do it, and ended up leaving the country.
This story hasn’t gone away, it’s just jumped ‘under the covers’. The newest development reveals an italian journalist was kidnapped and they’re demanding his return to Afghanistan to await his fate under sharia law; death.

The Italian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday Oct. 18, 2006 it was looking into a reported demand by the kidnappers of Torsello in Afghanistan that Italy hand over an Afghan convert to Christianity Abdul Rahman in exchange for the hostage’s release. The Foreign Ministry said it was doing everything possible to verify the demand, which was reported by an Italian aid group, Emergency. Kabul/Rome - The kidnappers of an Italian journalist have issued an ultimatum saying they will free their captive if Italy returns a converted Afghan Christian who sought asylum there, the journalist’s employers said on Tuesday.
The captors of Gabriele Torsello, 34, have offered his return in exchange for Abdul Rahman, an Afghan who received asylum in Italy in March after he faced the death penalty in his home country for converting to Christianity.
Back when Rahman was sentenced to death, they also called him ‘in sane’.
