Ms Underestimated
This girl has been busy. She has a large collection of videos that are well-worth watching!
This one is shocking: this is the spitting on soldiers video. I’ve noticed that leftists who oppose our military are doing it in a very different way than they did during the Vietnam conflict; this is a throwback to those days:
A Syracuse woman was charged after a Fort Drum soldier accused her of spitting on him without provocation at Hancock International Airport, Syracuse police said. Lauren Maggi, 35, of 256 Thurber St., was charged with second-degree harassment after the Nov. 22 incident, according to a police report.
Jason Jones, 21, told police a woman he did not know walked up to him near the United Airlines ticket counter, asked him if he was a Fort Drum solider and, when he responded that he was, spat in his face.
A second soldier on the scene supported Jones’ accusation, police said. Maggi offered no explanation for her conduct, police said. She could not be reached for comment tonight.
Here’s another great video she has, about a young man who served in Iraq and lost limbs; but is proud of his service. She’s right, we don’t hear stories like these from the msm because it’s contrary to the liberal ‘I hate the military’ view we get inundated with day in, day out.
Ms Underestimated is a regular on my ‘blogs to check’ list, she always comes up with very interesting and inspiring posts over there.

I’m not so shocked at this ignorant ***** performing such a psychotic act to one of our military personnel, as I’m rather pissed about it.
Same thing happened to me at the San Francisco Airport years ago upon returning to CONUS after my 2nd tour, but it was a hippie who spit on me.
At that time, all of us were still in our combat gear carrying our unloaded rifles — within seconds, that hippie found himself in the prone position on the ground, after I rammed the butt of my rifle into his chin, breaking his jaw in 3 places.
Funny; SF Airport Police saw the entire incident and turned their backs for a couple of minutes; then took their time calling for an ambulance to take the ******* to a hospital.
Last I heard, he was going to be sipping spinach thru a straw for quite awhile and, upon his release, was arrested for what he did.
If I were sitting on the Bench as a Judge, hearing her case in front of me, she’d get a good 10-year prison sentence with no parole.
Should be ample time for her to think about her stupid actions toward someone who had the guts to go several thousand miles away, putting his life on the line, in order for her rights and freedoms to remain intact.
I’m surprised no one walked up and *****-slapped her a few times, and proceeded to kick her sorry ***.

I’m surprised that she did that to you when you were carrying your weapon! That’s not all that bright.

If Fox news, is not part of the mainstream media, then I don’t know what is. This is a major network show (which is creepy). What exactly is the agenda of the supposedly liberal media? Is it that it’s not so good when a guy gets two legs and an arm blown off in an illegal occupation of a country that never attacked us? And does that mean you think that because he is making the best of his life and not depressed that it’s just great? Wonderful?! Terrific?! That’s insane, and makes me sick.
You’re talking about the same media that won’t show any flag draped coffins or talk about the 28,000 wounded Americans, or the fact that the Brits knew we were going to invade Iraq before congress did, which was not even denied by anyone when the memo came out. Everybody just ignored it, including the “msm”. Our media were about the very last people on the planet to admit there is full on civil war in Iraq. They’re still not talking about all the corruption or the fact that there is no security and the people are fleeing for their lives to other countries. All they do is count the bombs and bodies occasionally. I’m sure you could find one guy to say that life is good there, and he’s probably on Fox news tonight. There’s a conspiracy alright, but it’s not on the left.
I think that Bryan Anderson would rather have his 3 limbs back than all the flags and yellow ribbons on all the SUVs in the world. I think all of our military men and women would be better off at least having enough body armor and armor plating for vehicles, and helmet pads and chin guards to keep their helmets on their heads and their brains inside their skulls when their convoys get blown up and their choppers shot down. But you go to war with the military you have… -**** Cheney. What a ****, literally. What? you didn’t know our people were sent to fight a war without enough of those basic things? That must be because you watch Fox news and have your head up y.. nevermind.
I think our troops would prefer safe drinking water and not being asked to commit torture and other atrocities then being court marshaled for obeying orders (they weren’t supposed to take pictures), than a having bunch of idiots bitching and blogging about the “liberal” media, which doesn’t even exist. I don’t think they spend much time thinking about that at all, and I don’t think it’s as important to them who is or is not patriotic and supporting their mission when they are just trying to stay alive and don’t know when they can ever go home because their tours keep getting extended and their lives will never be the same no matter what. I think they will be pissed when they get back, if they get back, not at the “liberal” media, but at the VA, who won’t give them the medical help or assistance they need to put their shattered lives back together because of budget cuts. Check back with Bryan in 5 years and see if life is still all good. Today he’s on the cover of Esquire. What’s he going to do for the rest of his life?
The whole Iraq war is a crime based on a lie. It was a huge mistake that never should have happened. That’s not unpatriotic, and it has nothing to do with supporting or not supporting the troops. It’s just the truth. The best way to support the troops is to get them home sooner rather than later, hopefully before they get killed or maimed or permanently disabled due to the lies of some evil old men in Washington. I’m sure every one of them would be furious about having to leave before their impossible mission was complete (that’s sarcastic if you couldn’t tell). None of this is their fault. Rumsfeld, Bush and Cheney have horribly betrayed these men and women, and they are well and truly screwed for doing their duty to this once great that now looks more like a fascist state than the US of A. They deserve much much better. We all do.
Wake up people before it’s too late and we find ourselves in another illegal war, “spreading democracy”. Like Jay Leno said “Just let [Iraq] have our constitution, it worked fine for over 200 years, besides we’re not using it anymore”. I guess that makes him part of the liberal msm.
That’s what I think.

The vice president’s first name is being censored. How funny is that? Hahahaha

What lie would that be? You still haven’t answered the question. Most moonbats don’t know the answer.
It’s called a polite-ifier plug in. With all the filth that comes into comments here through trackback spam and other means, it is just one method I use of getting rid of unabashed smut and filth in comments from disrespectful potty mouthed moonbats.
If you mouse over it, you can see it’s still there. Any other word you decide to use that in some context could be perverse, like *********, for example, will show in the same manner. The Florida *********’s trackbacks, in fact, don’t show the word *********.
See my original post and announcement on it here.

Sorry, I should have said lies (plural). There were hundreds repeated over and over for months leading up to the war. I guess I assumed that everyone knew by now. Here are a few.
• We know there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. We have evidence.
• There is a link between the 911 attack on us and us attacking Iraq. It is retaliation against our enemy.
• Invading Iraq is somehow part of the war on terror and necessary for our safety.
• Iraq posed a threat to us and was planning some kind of attack. There is evidence.
• The reason for going into Iraq is to free the Iraqi people from an evil dictator because we care (after no WMDs could be found).
• Those tubes that were found in Iraq could only be used for enriching uranium. Turns out they couldn’t be used for that at all
• Saddam was trying to buy Uranium from Nigeria (or something like that - doesn’t really matter because it was made up).
The bottom line is that they made the decision to invade Iraq, which was no threat to us, had not attacked us, had no WMDs, no capability for producing any, wasn’t planning anything against us, and really had absolutely nothing to do with 911. Then they made up reasons and exaggerated twisted, spun and manufactured evidence to support the lies and proceeded to intentionally mislead the country into an unprovoked war for the first time in history. America has never before picked a fight with a country that didn’t have it coming. What we did to Iraq, which is small and defenseless compared to America, makes us into a bully.
Here’s the worst part of it all. The Bush administration took all the raw emotion, the pain, anger grief and shock after September 11th, and cynically used it. He and his neo-conservative friends manipulated and misled the people, on purpose, with full awareness of what they were doing. We wanted revenge, and he wanted to invade Iraq, so he started a campaign to make us believe that we could find revenge somehow in Iraq, even though it is completely illogical and wrong. I just can’t believe it worked.

I understand now about the polite-ifer thing. Thank you for the explanation. Where is my response about the lie question? No matter, I shall post it again though it’s dissapointing that it was lost. I thought it was good.

Oh, sorry, there it is. I could have sworn it was not there a minute ago before I refreshed my browser. Nevermind.

WMD Mystery Solved
The UN, Al-Tuwaitha, and Nukes.
It would appear that it’s not only western intelligence and the media which ended up showing up as ‘clueless’, it’s blind moonbats, too.
1.8 tons of yellow cake were sent to the US. * Critics of President Bush, who carped about the so-called fabricated intelligence about Iraq seeking uranium from Africa (Niger), would be wise to wait for a full analysis of the source of the materials that were flown to the US, and the materials that remain at Tuwaitha. The writer of that Tuwaitha article is Douglas Hansonm, who was the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Science and Technology for the Coalition Provisional Authority during the Summer of 2003. As then, the Iraqi-controlled ministry today has oversight of Al-Tuwaitha and its 3000 scientists and engineers of the now-disbanded Iraqi Atomic Energy Commission.
Links to Tubes for enriching Uranium. Dr. Obeidi’s book, “The bomb in my garden”.
Joe Wilson lied.
None of that fits in your convenient little slogan slinging, but then…very little of what the media repeats from anti-war castro loving marxists makes any sense. This is probably going to be turned into a post at some point. Thanks for the laughs, but it’s also a sad commentary on how far people have been mislead by the anti-war movement which is far from the mainstream.
