News bits
News bits for today…
Alexander Litvinenko’s italian contact, Mario Scaramella, who was also poisoned, has been arrested. Scaramella was hospitalized for several days in London, and he said doctors told him he had received five times the lethal dose of polonium-210, although he showed no symptoms.
From the Chicago Tribune:
Scaramella said he showed Litvinenko e-mails at the Nov. 1 meeting from a confidential source identifying the possible killers of Russian investigative journalist Anna Politkovskaya and listing other potential targets for assassination, including himself and Litvinenko.
Scaramella was arrested in Naples after returning from London. Rome prosecutors have accused him of international arms trafficking and slander.

Iran pulls a Saddam with the UN Security Council over Nukes
IRAN has threatened to cut access to international inspections and accelerate uranium enrichment after the UN Security Council imposed sanctions over its nuclear program.
The Security Council voted unanimously to impose relatively light sanctions after prolonged negotiations with Russia, which supplies nuclear technology to Iran and is a major trading partner.
The resolution requires Iran to immediately suspend its enrichment program and reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel within 60 days or face additional UN penalties.
UN Sanctions will do no good; Islamists are liars, they believe ‘war is deception’.

Jack Idema is supposed to have a Christmas Video message up at Rogue Radio Live, but I can’t find it yet. But he has a priceless picture of himself out in the snow with a big rucksack on his back, holding Brent’s dog, Nina.
Update: Here’s the link to Jack’s Christmas Video Message, or you can go to Rogue Radio Live and click on the picture of him and Nina to get to it from the Rogue Radio Live site. Thanks to Jo from Jo’s Cafe for giving me the heads up.
