That is, ‘if’ he did it. This is the story of Robert “Willie” Pickton, a pig farmer, who has been waiting since 2002 to be brought to trial for some unspeakable crimes against women. As the story goes, this man, who owned a 17-acre pig farm, is alleged to have targeted women from the red light district. He allegedly lured them back to his pig farm, did unspeakable things to them, then shoved their bodies through shredders, feeding their remains to his pigs.

Not all the remains went to the pigs, though, I gather someone kept some souvenirs. The severed heads showed they’d been shot in the head. This reminds me somewhat of the crimes of Jeffrey Dahmer, because there were hands and feet, too, which showed no damage to the bones; because they were severed in a skillful manner.

The Toronto Sun:

The Crown says witnesses will describe the finding of three severed heads, including that of [Sereena] Abotsway, in buckets on Pickton’s isolated property in Port Coquitlam.

The court was told investigators later found remains of the other women named on the indictment, including partial jaws, feet, hands and finger bones.

In a videotaped interview, he claimed the charges were ‘hogwash’, that he was being set up. But he also admitted to an undercover investigator that he was planning on doing one more, to make it an even 50.

Back in 1997, a woman charged him with attempted murder and unlawful confinement. She was Wendy Lynn Eistetter, a sex worker, and for some reason those charges were dropped, when Pinckton claimed he was acting in self defense.

I can’t believe it…it’s beyond the imagination. As Emanuella Grinberg said at Court TV, this story is befitting of a horror film. If the sickness of what was found on his farm isn’t enough, the defense has claimed that this man is ‘innocent’ and that someone else committed the crimes. Reportedly, Robert William Pickton admitted on tape that the reason he got caught was because he got ’sloppy’. He may have done just 49 and never made it to his even ‘50′, but he has only been charged with 26 of them. This trial just opens it upl; it’s for the the six murders of Sereena Abotsway, Mona Wilson, Andrea Joesbury, Brenda Wolfe, Georgina Papin and Marnie Frey, God rest their souls.

Canada does not have a death penalty.
