Appeal for courage

If you’re active military, go here and sign the petition to send a message to Congress to ’support’ the military. With the supplemental bill conversation coming up with Pelosi, Reid and President Bush this week, it will be timely message you’ll be sending.

See the demographics here of the the military personnel who are asking for our help including officers versus enlisted, deployed versus not.

Recently a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle called me here in Baghdad and asked why the active duty military wasn’t opposing the war in Iraq in numbers similar to those that opposed the war in Vietnam. Not surprisingly, he didn’t print my answer…..

    As the saying goes, figures never lie, but liars figure. One can only hope that the word about this appeal gets around, and people get the chance to sign it… Congress’ view towards the war is more than a little distressing.
