Houston, there’s a problem

By: Cao, Filed under: Blogosphere , General , Leftist Agenda @ 6:55 am

Regularly, throughout the course of my days, I like to skip over to Frontpage Magazine to see what’s cookin’. David Horowitz has a virtual army of thought-provoking writers who expose the disparity between reality and fiction that is so prominently on display when reading media reports on issues.

Right now, I cannot seem to access Frontpage Magazine. It does not show me an error when I click on the link, it simply shows me nothing. There could be numerous explanations for this, but I’m inclined to believe that some leftists are responsible, as they don’t believe in free speech for those of us on this side of the ideological aisle.

A reminder of what could happen here is what happened with the Sand Monkey, who just retired his blogging keyboard because of this. That unbelievable post is cached on google and will disappear shortly.

So, that’s what happend. Now what? How do I end this? Do I tell you how depressed I am at the moment? How this signals the end of the dream of a democratic Egypt?

It isn’t a stretch of the imagination to see that happening here, particularly if the queen of socialist ideas or any of George Soros’ lackies comes to power. I am in a similar sad place to that of the Sand Monkey; I am mourning the death of our sweet republic because I am only one person. Most of the sheeple have been brainwashed by the media, and now the “tolerant” liberals won’t listen to reason.

Dan Riehl has an excellent post up about the situation we’re in today, but the cold reality of it and the situation we’re in - in a war, with democrats who shrink away from supporting America as like vampires reacting to a crucifix, is terribly upsetting to me.

Conversely, socialism, communism, neo-Liberalism, the Democrat Party of today, they are not just non-heroic in nature, they are anti-heroic. There is no room for the hero in an America driven by a Leftist ideology. Be it a President, Christ, a cowboy, or a Pat Tillman, they must tear it down. It is also why you won’t find today’s Leftist media celebrating the heroism of any one soldier too loudly, or for too long.

To do so would be to credit individualism above collectivism, to celebrate excellence over mediocrity. To do so would be to support American ideals and values they are dedicated to destroying. And most of the idiots don’t even know why they do or don’t do it, so little insight into, or understanding of traditional American values have they.

Bravo for putting it into words so clearly, Dan.

The only post at Frontpage that I can access thus far in following my curiosity is this one on Hillary by Dick Morris, posted on April 12, 2007, and I was wondering if it was this article that brought the terrorist hackers around to destroying the ability to access Frontpage Magazine.

And she is a really strong left-wing liberal. “Liberal” is an inadequate phrase; “socialist” is really the proper phrase. She is the closest thing we have to a European socialist. You want to know what she’s like? Look at Schroeder, in his pre-reform days. Look at Jospian in France. Look at Mitterrand before privatization blew up in his face. Look at the old Labor Party leaders that never got power, like Michael Foot and some of the others. She’s a real European socialist.

We spend about 33% of our gross domestic product on state, local and federal government. Britain spends about 39 or 40%. France spends 48%, Germany 51%, Sweden 55%. And Hillary would like us to move into the high 40s and the low 50s. And she’d like that to fund free higher education, free healthcare, free daycare, free extra nutrition, more food stamps, more welfare; the whole bit. And if you think that those are good goals, and if you think that’s the way to achieve it, support her. Because she really will do that. It’s really what she wants to do.

David Horowitz leads Frontpage Magazine and has, after all, a lot more readers than this little blog does. David, a former leftist himself, is steadily chipping away at leftists on a variety of fronts: on college campuses where students and faculty are engaging in online fascism; terrorist tactics from their campuses because they tolerate no “dissent” from the politically correct lines. We pay those faculties to guide, mentor and protect our greatest treasure; the future of America; our children. And they are producing people with a skewed view of the world, history and the principles of our founding fathers.
