I don’t think we need pussyfoot around when talking about terrorism…
Not all members of Britain’s Parliament agree with dropping the use of the words, Muslim and War on Terror:
In responding to Smith’s words, Tory backbencher Philip Davies wondered, “What purpose is served by this? I don’t think we need pussyfoot around when talking about terrorism.” As one reader asked on the Daily Express’ Web site, “Well, if they aren’t Muslims, what the hell are they? They sure aren’t Methodists or Quakers.”
It is true that not all Muslims are terrorists, nor should all be under suspicion. It’s also true that, save for the occasional convert, most terrorists have been young Muslim males of Middle Eastern or Asian descent. To some, this is profiling. In police work, it’s called a description of the suspects.
Now, we read this news of a new threat here in America:
PHILADELPHIA — Two doctors accused of plotting last weekend’s failed terror bombings in London and Glasgow inquired about coming to the United States to continue their medical studies, the FBI confirmed Friday.
FBI spokeswoman Nancy O’Dowd confirmed a report in The Philadelphia Inquirer that the pair took preliminary steps to apply for graduate medical programs in the U.S.
This is the first suggestion that any of the suspected Islamic terrorists in Britain wanted to come to the United States.
One of the doctors was identified as Mohammed Jamil Asha, 26, a neurologist from Jordan who was arrested in a car on the M6 Highway near Manchester, England, with his wife and 1 1/2-year-old son after the failed attacks.
The Inquirer could not determine the identity of the second doctor.
SO if we don’t profile, or even consider the nation these student doctors are coming from, how can we defend against a potential attack? Is watching and tracking young men of middle eastern decent SUCH a bad thing? I don’t think so. This War on Terror is not something we can describe as anything else; we can’t be politically correct about it. Too much is at stake. Britain can go soft and she will pay the price, but America is stronger than that.

Why is it necessary for Western nations to import doctors from the Mideast ? A dependency on foreign oil is bad enough.
We need to produce more doctors as well as more oil resources.
I don’t mean for the government to just start throwing money at the shortage of trained doctors either. Perhaps an independent company could be formed that could invest in producing doctors from our own population and in turn those new American doctors could in turn repay (or perhaps share their income ) with that company. Under the right contracts I would be willing to invest in such a corporation under the right contract.
Perhaps the AMA would object to a surplus of US born doctors but it could serve not only to reduce medical care for Americans but would also permit us to slam the door on these Arab terrorist doctors. It would be nice for us to have something we could export again to our friends in the world.
Just a thought. Educate our people instead of bringing in some foreign folks to educate.

Whoops , permit me to correct previous message.
Perhaps the AMA would object to a surplus of US born doctors but it could serve not only to reduce the cost of medical care for Americans but would also permit us to slam the door on these Arab terrorist doctors.

Has anyone else noticed the blossoming species of foreign Terrorist created by health administrators gardening for cheap laborers to import in order to nurse the unfortunate sick people in our hospitals. I pray that one of them get sick and have to be cared for by one of these sons of Ben Laden!!!

What the heck is wrong with politicians across the world??? Profiling is a legitimate law enforcement tool. Call a spade a spade and be done with it. Profiling is used to identify criminals based on multiple criteria. Serial killers, rapists, gang bangers, murderers, and terrorists all have profiles. Race, belief systems, can be part of profiles. What the heck is wrong with that?? The idea here is to prevent the crime before it happens. Save lives. Now that is important, don’t you think?

Profiling works period end of debate, it has always worked.
As someone who lives in Philadelphia I wonder how many of these people did make it here. The University of Penn is filled with Middle Eastern Medical students.
I also have to wonder though in this haven of Democrat rule that is Philly, if a terrorist attack took place who would notice.
Last year in Iraq we lost 823 soldiers, in Philly we had 406 Murders and supposidly there is no war here.

I am trying to make a conservative digg alternative called GOP Hub (GOPHub.com). Anything you can do to help with this effort would be awesome. Plus feel free to submit any articles you write here on your blog :). Take care and have a great weekend!
