Vacation is going swimmingly
My second trip to Starved Rock…simply because I can…and simply because it’s a straight shot all the way there from here, with no drama and little traffic.
Can’t access all of my email accounts,…so JOHN TIFFANY STOP SENDING EMAILS TO MY PATS ADDRESS PLEASE-I’m not checking email everyday and I don’t have my cell phone on. But… I couldn’t resist getting online for a few minutes to report that everything is going well and I absolutely love this year - having now gone on two trips, and planning to go on the Gathering of Eagles trip in September….
I took a picture of the statue at the lodge by Peter Wolf, but don’t have any way to upload it. I found this pic on the internet, so you know - it’s looks very similar to the way the woods look right now…when I get home I’ll upload my photos and tell a little of the story. Hopefully at least some of the photos I’m taking I’ll be able to use for paintings in the future.
As Yat and some others know, I love the significance of Native American heritage and what they’ve contributed to who we are today…and I like to remember the lessons of the past….
And yes, I’m here to paint and be all by myself….so eat your hearts out.

Sounds wonderful and relaxing — take your time; enjoy your serenity and painting — there’s nothing like being surrounded by laid-back Native American heritage and history!
