Dan Rather filed a $70m lawsuit against CBS
I’m not sure what to think of this. Jay is collecting reactions after doing somewhat of a roundup here.
In the article it says he filed a lawsuit against the network, its corporate parent and three of his former bosses; that the network committed ‘fraud’, damaged his reputation, that he was reduced to a ‘patsy’. He’s looking for $50 million in punitive damages and $20 million in compensation.
Malkin calls him Gunga Dan. bwahahahaha.
C-BS corporate responds: “These complaints are old news and this lawsuit is without merit.”

Good one Cao, all I can say about Dan is “Thank God and CBS you’re Gone” (with aplogies to Roy Clark).

Sounds like from what I’ve seen… Dan lied for the network (Oh gee, what a surprise!) and then the network exposed him for lying.
Oh what evil webs we weave… and that is what happens when you trust C-BS!!!!!
