Crescent of betrayal/surrender blogburst
you can find the pdf version of the manuscript of alec’s book at crescentofbetrayal.com. alec rawls also blogs at error theory and exposes there not only the hypocrisy of the media on this issue, but leftist thought processes which seem to be totally divorced from rational thinking. does one have to be a conservative to think that planting an islamic flag on the crash site doesn’t honor the crew and passengers who fought the terrorists on that fateful day?
Flight 93 has once again been hijacked by the terrorists.
After deliberating on this for a while, I’ve decided to start a blogburst regarding the Flight 93 Memorial in order to keep the calculations that verified its orientation to Mecca from going down the memory hole.
In addition, I think bringing heightened awareness to the mosque features of the memorial and other facts are important because they’re moving to start construction of this monstrosity at the crash site.
If you want to join the blogroll/blogburst for the Crescent of Betrayal blogburst, email me at caoilfhionn1 at gmail dot com, with your blog’s url address. The blogburst will be sent out once a week to the participants, the plan is- we will all be posting simultaneously on this issue on Wednesdays.
Of course, I will fully expect that you will post on this if you join the blogburst. I’ll keep an email list, and if you don’t post on it, your url will come off the blogroll, and your email address will come off the list.
When was the last time you wanted to get back at the terrorists for 9/11? THIS IS YOUR CHANCE.
Let’s roll.

They are not calling it a crescent and star configuration, but that is what they are describing in the redesign.

I really don’t get the orientation issue. This thing points northeast. Mecca is southeast of Pennsylvania. Help me out here.

I hope that clarifies it for you. You can easily find the direction to Mecca by going to the Quibla indicator and entering in the coordinates. You can do it with Google Earth, too; there are a number of ways you can do it. Do it the way the muslims do it and it’ll end up completely in the northeast direction - exactly the direction that the planned memorial would face.

I have read this explanation before, and it doesn’t seem right. If you actually take a globe (which I’ve done), stick a pin in Pennsylvania (or use tape -my kid’s globe is steel) with a thread attached, stretch that thread to Mecca, it is a far shorter piece that goes southeast.
You have to cross the Tropic of Cancer, you never get there going northeast from PA unless you go all the way to Mongolia.

A very simple way; and the way muslims do it - is go to the Qibla Locator online and put in the coordinates. Whether you use the address or the latitude and longitude, you’ll come up with the same results: Northeast.
Like this.
As is clearly indicated, the direction is northeast; and that’s how the muslims themselves figure it out.

The string on a globe method is a good one. Just try it again Jason. Use a string instead of a tape measure to make sure you are getting a straight line (curving only in the over-the-horizon direction).
Your first attempt was WAY off. Mongolia is straight over the north pole from PA. You certainly didn’t get there following a straight line to the northeast. (55.2 degrees clockwise from north is the exact direction to Mecca.)
