The temporary Flight 93 memorial
This is a reminder of what we’re talking about when we’re saying that the new proposed memorial design to the victims - all of the victims, including the terrorists - is a hijacking of the 93 memorial project. Although a lot of people don’t like the religious connotations in memorials, this is, after all, a grave site or a cemetery. But as you can see from the items left behind by visitors and loved ones, it represents a lot more that isn’t even addressed in the new design that really needs to be expressed somehow in a true memorial to the victims and not the hijackers.
And it represents what’s heroic and courageous about Americans.
Take a look at these pictures and try to imagine that soon an Islamic flag will be staked out on this site. A claim for Islamic terrorism in North America. This will be a blot on our history that will be difficult to remove. It memorializes the terrorists instead of the victims who are characterized as ‘angels’ today. Where people have left the message “God Bless America”….not “Allah claims this country” or an open invitation to muslims in North America to make a pilgrimage to the North American version of the open air mosque in Saudi Arabia.

In this picture, whether you recognize it or not, there is a CROSS on the right hand side, and the 40 individuals who lost their lives fighting the 4 terrorists for control of the cockpit have their names inscribed on them. You can see them to the left of the picture above, and here is a closer view of them:

They are depicted as ANGELS….not infidels, as they are in the Crescent of Embrace design, cast out of the Islamic heavens.
Forty slate angels grace the memorial site - each marked with the name of one of the forty heroes of Flight 93. A nearby angel plaque reads:
“Few can begin to understand what drives
men to such acts of desperation.
But the World must now know
the resolve of this great nation is both
unshakeable and unstoppable.
This ordinary Americans took
extraordinary steps to help their
fellow Americans and by doing so
gave the greatest sacrifice.
And so these Angels of Freedom stand
not as a memorial to those who died,
But rather as a celebration of their lives
for which we will be forever in their debt.
God Bless the Families and Friends of the
True Heroes of September 11, 2001.”
This simple memorial means more to the American people than the millions of dollars thrown at it to make an Islamic memorial to the terrorists; it represents right now what the American people feel. At one point on the fence on the right, someone has even left a WEDDING RING:

And a wedding ring is another symbol of something that is un islamic; one can only imagine who the individual was who left it there with the rosary….
The three pictures above are from About.com here.
The two pictures above are from webshots…they have a new feature where you can post pictures on your blog from webshots. Below is the slideshow of more pictures from that grouping.
I am ashamed at the people who have led the memorial project who’ve suppressed Alec Rawls information; the terrorist abetters and apologists who can’t face the simple facts or refuse even to acknowledge them. Shame on them for what they’re doing to the memory of the flight and crew of Flight 93.

I respect and revere all the individuals who make up our military, warriors who unselfishly protect our country everyday and make sacrifices so the average citizen can sleep at night. But when I think about the passengers and crew of Flight 93, I am overwhelmed with gratitude similiar to what I feel for the military only more so. These ordinary citizen’s rose up to an extraordinary challenge and paid with their lives to protect the “target”. How many of us, if we were on a business trip or off to see a new grandchild or whatever would put us on an airline flight on a given day, would have the courage to don the mantle of “citizen warrior” and move with such courage??? To the spirit of these fallen heros, I would like to say “Thank you” and “We got yer backs”!!! I for one will treat this as if you were all my family members, which you were… the family of American citizens. I personally will raise Cain until American’s know about this injustice. God Bless all our fallen and their families from 9/11 forever! May they never be forgotton and may our lessons be learned.
