The Inconvenient truth is…Al Gore is a liar, says the British court
Sorry, even though Al Bore was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his environmental activism and promotion of the global warming lie, the British court actually came right out and pointed out the numerous fabrications or should I say falsehoods in the movie “An Inconvenient Truth”.
Iain Murray at Planet Gore serves it up in all its glory:
The British government decided that it would be a good idea to send copies of Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth to all schools, with then Environment Secretary (now Foreign Secretary) David Miliband declaring that “the debate over science is over.” Well, it may be, but not in the way Gore portrays it. A truck driver and school governor, Stuart Dimmock, took the government to court, alleging that the film portrays “partisan political views,” the promotion of which is illegal in schools under the Education Act of 1996.
The judge has decided that this is indeed the case and that the Government’s guidance notes that accompanied the film exacerbated the problem. For the film to be shown in schools, therefore, several facts would have to be drawn to students’ attention:
In order for the film to be shown, the Government must first amend their Guidance Notes to Teachers to make clear that 1.) The Film is a political work and promotes only one side of the argument. 2.) If teachers present the Film without making this plain they may be in breach of section 406 of the Education Act 1996 and guilty of political indoctrination. 3.) Eleven inaccuracies have to be specifically drawn to the attention of school children.
The inaccuracies are:
- The film claims that melting snows on Mount Kilimanjaro evidence global warming. The Government’s expert was forced to concede that this is not correct.
- The film suggests that evidence from ice cores proves that rising CO2 causes temperature increases over 650,000 years. The Court found that the film was misleading: over that period the rises in CO2 lagged behind the temperature rises by 800-2000 years.
- The film uses emotive images of Hurricane Katrina and suggests that this has been caused by global warming. The Government’s expert had to accept that it was “not possible” to attribute one-off events to global warming.
- The film shows the drying up of Lake Chad and claims that this was caused by global warming. The Government’s expert had to accept that this was not the case.
- The film claims that a study showed that polar bears had drowned due to disappearing arctic ice. It turned out that Mr Gore had misread the study: in fact four polar bears drowned and this was because of a particularly violent storm.
- The film threatens that global warming could stop the Gulf Stream, throwing Europe into an ice age: the Claimant’s evidence was that this was a scientific impossibility.
- The film blames global warming for species losses including coral reef bleaching. The Government could not find any evidence to support this claim.
- The film suggests that the Greenland ice covering could melt causing sea levels to rise dangerously. The evidence is that Greenland will not melt for millennia.
- The film suggests that the Antarctic ice covering is melting, the evidence was that it is in fact increasing.
- The film claims that rising sea levels has caused the evacuation of certain Pacific islands to New Zealand. The Government are unable to substantiate this and the Court observed that this appears to be a false claim.
This is a far better result than refusing to allow the film to be shown at all. It requires that students be told by teachers that Al Gore is factually inaccurate, misleading and - in one case - making things up.
Someone who purposely puts forth factually inaccurate statements is lying; someone who is purposely putting forth misleading statements is lying, and someone who is making things up is lying. So, in other words, he’s a liar.
So much for that Nobel Peace prize. And John Bambenek points out…all “Peace Prizes” are supposedly because people are ‘against war’ and ‘promoting peace’; an incredibly leftist point of view when you consider that Hitler was a peacenik, and Jimmy Carter won it in 2002 and he hates Jews (just like Hitler and the arab Islamofascists he coddles), as well as their buddy the late Yasser Arafat who was awarded that “prize”, too. Speaking of terrorists, they ought to award it to Paul Murdoch; surely he’s considered a peacenik who’s extending an olive branch to Islamofascists like Arafat with that crescent design with the box cutter/Islamic Sundial/minaret on it. If you’re going to award the “peace prize” to a terrorist like Arafat, then Paul Murdoch who is determined to memorialize the Al Qaeda hijackers of Flight 93 on the crash site in Pennsylvania should be up for that award, too.
But aside from that…what does Global Warming have to do with promoting ‘peace’ other than -it promotes a lie-and justification to tax the hell out of us?

British Court Rules Al Gore Film Exaggerated Climate Claims
Al Gore’s award-winning climate change documentary was littered with nine inconvenient untruths, a judge ruled yesterday. (dated October 12)
Among the claims in the film that are untrue:
The judge also said there was no proof to support a claim that polar bears were drowning while searching for icy habitats melted by global warming. The only drowned polar bears the court was aware of were four that died following a storm.
hehehe. Polar bears drowning due to melting ice. Tell me another one!

I followed a link from Meatbrain to this site. I do this every now and again as he was caught not only lying but deleting comments to cover his lies. It is only fitting he tries to accuse you of lies too.
Its just my public service to help out.

Thanks, but some kind of software tried to download onto my computer when I followed that link…he has malicious scripts attached to his blog, apparently.
He is a poor soul who craves attention through negative attention seeking; making himself a pain in the *** to people with idiotic accusations that he can’t back up.
That is a great post over there, by the way– public service messages like yours are always appreciated. The public should be aware that Meatbrain is a malicious troll who bans the IP addresses of people who might dare come to his site and introduce him to a clue bat.
And as has been mentioned already, he has a history of intellectually dishonest behavior such as; deleting comments and saving the pages of copyrighted website material on the server of his web host, which is against their TOS….. He talks about intellectual dishonesty, through pointing his fingers at others, but he really takes the cake where “intellectual dishonesty” is concerned.

It is sad to see such behavior in a so called adult… It’s funny how I honestly can’t stand the behavior and mindset of someone I never met! But Meaty is a super whack job who listens to reason about as well as my 2nd ex husband!!!! LOL!!!! Just had to make THAT comparison. I’m a poster child for what happens when you marry a liberal… you end up divorced!

Lefties are really out there trying to back up their hero, Al Bore. They troll our websites, saying that we’re not ‘qualified to talk about climate change’ and are desperate to suppress the truth.
But I noticed they had little to say about Al Bore giving a lesson in history (Saddam’s connection to terrorism); which is yet another “inconvenient truth”…
And Al Bore doesn’t take his own advice about curbing carbon emissions…
Al Gore’s Electric Bill, Carbon Credits, and A Lesson In Economics
Interesting how lefties can’t/won’t take their own advice; just like Meatbrain.!!!
I should have taken a screen shot of what popped up on my screen; now when I go to Meatbrain’s, his website doesn’t do that anymore. Just another dishonest maneuver to justify calling me a liar, I’ll bet.

I just know in the last few weeks I have seen more “weak arguments made without good sources” and “emotional bantering without making a solid point” with the Libs! I did so enjoy watching Rush’s announcement about the Ebay auction on the news last night! I haven’t always agreed with all of Rush’s views, but I have always felt he was honorable and admired his way of intelligently making a point! He was awesome to watch last night and I LMAO!!!!
Meaty just needs to go back to nursery school where he can impress someone who doesn’t know better.

Oftentimes they cross the lines over to ABUSIVE behavior…like in the case of Jim Gilchrist when he was attempting to speak at Columbia University.
The Nazis started at the Universities; this is just a repeat of the stormtroopers…
Columbia University’s Historical Love For Nazis
I would say that Meatbrain is waging his own war based on this ideology…supporting terrorists and looking to suppress any ideas that differ. In the beginning, he attacked me for what I was saying about Jose Padilla.

It has been suggested by several in our group that we just ignore Meathead. Not that he’ll go away, but he is devoted almost entirely to us; that’s the subject matter of his blog; complaining about the members of The Wide Awakes and me, the founder and owner of that site. I think he doesn’t like the fact that we’ve organized…it must intimidate and scare him in some way, so he sits on his website in a position of fear, trying to act all-powerful by calling us ‘liars’.
Whatever. He’s like one of those bees that gathers around your food at a picnic. Annoying; but not all that important; and not really worthy of attention.

I hear you on that one. The one thing one can safely assume is the fact that if you ignore his kind long enough, they will fade away from lack of attention and go bug someone else for awhile. It must be lonely in Delusional MeatyWorld with no other nutjobs who will agree with you all the time.
