Rush’s Reid smackdown
Hilarious, appropros, fitting, etc.,etc.,etc.
Rush has Harry Reid’s letter to Clear Channel…and is auctioning it off on ebay.
The proceeds of the auction will go to the The Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation actually helps surviving families of KIA Marines. So this is a worthy cause, to be sure, and here’s a guy that REALLY supports the troops - he’s not one of those ‘fake’ lefty ’support the troops’ people who instead talk about ‘give them better medical care’ or - ’support the troops bring them home’ - in other words, “I’m against war, and I don’t understand what the military does; nor do I care, as long as I can get my latte at Starbucks, and why should we even want to WIN a war, anyway? It’s all about evil corporations making money-Bring them home and let me get on with my life; there is no terrorist threat.” Or…”I support the troops when they shoot their officers…”
See what he’s auctioning at Robin’s, here-Rush Delivers The Best Smackdown EVER to Harry Reid & Company
And watch the video at Ms U’s.
Thanks to Jo’s Cafe.

Why hasn’t anyone stepped forward to censor Reid?
Rush, sue him for defamation of character.
The term defamation of character is often used to describe accusations of slander, libel or both. Slander involves verbal derogatory statements, while libel involves written ones. In a court of law, the plaintiff pursuing the lawsuit would charge defamation of character to cover any form of false or damaging allegations.
Libel is a published or fixed form of defamation of character; a civil wrong that falsely impugns the reputation or character of a person or entity, opening the target up to public scorn or ridicule. Libel might appear in a magazine, book, newspaper, or in a radio or television broadcast. Signs, billboards or posters can also be mediums for libel. Online libel, or cyberlibel takes electronic forms such as email, mailing lists, newsgroups, chat rooms, podcasts, vodcasts and Web pages. A false charge that is uttered but not published is considered slander.
Libel involves false statements knowingly presented as fact. In the United States opinion is protected as a tenant of freedom of speech, falling outside the purview of libel. Citizens retain the right to comment on public figures and entities, including government and officials. Entertainment, parody, editorials and criticisms that may arguably misrepresent facts are not libelous so long as they are presented for amusement or stated as mere opinion.

The problem is, in a defamation suit, Harry Reid would lose. He would lose because he has been spreading malicious lies on behalf of Clinton, Soros’ and Media Matters.
The truth is; Jessie Macbeth is a fraud and was a fraud…he never served in spec ops, he only served 44 days and is a phony! Just like Rush said he was.
Defamation is a legal action sounding in tort based on an intentional or reckless public false statement that injures another person’s reputation. Libel and slander are types of defamation. Generally, libel is defamation in print and slander is spoken defamation.
The only person who made a public false statement is Harry Reid and Media Matters, both in print, and on the floor of Congress. Clinton weighed in on this by signing that letter that is up on ebay.
Media Matters would lose because they intentionally took what Rush said out of context, and then Congress ran with it.
This is the typical behavior of the Clintons…attacking people to shut them up.
There are many examples of this; and the Clintons, George Soros, Podesta, Brock and the rest think they’re above the law….! And perhaps they are.
Vince Foster, anyone? Whitewater? How about Sen. Clinton’s violation of a federal code that carries a possible five-year prison sentence? Sandy Berger? Monica Lewisnky? Paula Jones? Juanita Broderick? Hsu? The list goes on and on of the couple’s improprieties…
Clinton’s unfortunate “we’re going to take things away from you for your own good” phrase applies to free speech to people on the other side of the political divide.
This completely fits in with what she wrote in her senior Wellesley thesis. Why would she want the public NOT to know about it? lol
It’s manipulation…fascist/nazi-style.

Leader Harry Reid Senator of Nevada Should step down as leader today. I think The good People of That State should recall Senator Reid, just like the good people of the State of California did to Gray Davis when he was a failed leader as Governor.
