The Pope goes green for Christmas

I hate to say it, but this sickens me.

ROME — Pope Benedict XVI reinforced the Vatican’s growing concern with protecting the environment in the traditional midnight Christmas Mass on Tuesday, bemoaning an “ill-treated world” in a homily given to thousands of pilgrims here in the seat of the world’s billion Roman Catholics.

On the day Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ some 2,000 years ago, Benedict referred to one early father of the church, Gregory of Nyssa, a bishop in what is now Turkey. “What would he say if he could see the state of the world today, through the abuse of energy and its selfish and reckless exploitation?” the pope asked, according to the Vatican’s English translation.

Rome bent over for the nazis, too.

That sdeems a very strange thing to be sickened by.

So much hate. So little time for Righteous Politics while Eden burns.

LOL “Eden burns”…you should take your medication. The romantic view of “Eden” is a fantasy. And pointing that out isn’t ‘hate’…pointing out the reality of Environmentalism which today promotes totalitarianism isn’t ‘hate’, either. Totalitarianism is something the Pope should be opposing, not making a case for.

Totalitarianism under the guise of saving the planet is a strange thing to be sickened by? LOL

    o—-KAY!

The hypocrisy of this is amazing, and the Pope’s making a plea for it is sickening.

I think he should be asking for donations to purchase Carbon Credits. He should ask Al Gore, John Kerry & Teresa Heinz Kerry and other rich people to stop flying around in jets because it’s bad for the environment. Can we afford that waste, when the oceans are about to rise 20 ft.?

    LOL

C’mon. This is hysteria just like the population explosion myth and all the others the environmentalists have tried to pull over on us…
