Compromising with evil
I’ve been in some interesting conversations lately, regarding McCain. My husband actually voted for Hillary instead of McCain, and -although I didn’t do that-I can understand exactly how he feels.
To me, it’s completely about compromising with evil. And it’s about people selling us ‘the lesser of two evils’ as though it’s something worthy of doing.
IT IS NOT.
It’s not biblical, and it’s not something I can do and look myself in the mirror.
Pray that you will not compromise with temptation. It’s in the Bible, Matthew 26:41, TLB. “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”
Don’t even start down an evil path. It’s in the Bible, Proverbs 4:14-15, TLB. “Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way.”
Don’t let sinners influence you. It’s in the Bible, Proverbs 1:10, TLB. “My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them.”
The man who walks righteously does not compromise. It’s in the Bible, Isaiah 33:15-16, TLB. “He who walks righteously and speaks what is right, who rejects gain from extortion and keeps his hand from accepting bribes, who stops his ears against plots of murder and shuts his eyes against contemplating evil—this is the man who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress. His bread will be supplied, and water will not fail him.”
You don’t have to give in to compromise. It’s in the Bible, I Corinthians 10:13, TLB. “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”
Don’t give the devil a chance. It’s in the Bible, Ephesians 4:27, TLB. “And do not give the devil a foothold.”
There can be no compromise when it comes to the devil, we are either for Christ or Satan. It’s in the Bible, Matthew 12:30, NIV. “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.”

The Bible is where it’s at, and it’s what is directing my decisionmaking.
Nobody else can or will do that.
This means that if there is no representation, I will not compromise with a candidate who doesn’t represent me.
I’ve had enough!
It’s time to join a third party!

Did you see where Huckabee was endorsed by James Dobson? I am annoyed by that frankly. James Dobson didn’t have any problem coming out months ago to say if the candidate was Fred or Rudy, he’d have a problem with that because of the fact they had both been divorced, and Rudy had been pro-choice. I have been looking at McCain’s record… trading in the crippled wife who waited on him to be returned, for a trophy heiress wife… and he was silent until “after Super Tuesday”!!! Talk about manipulation. I was wondering if he was going to step up with a third party candidate like he spoke of when slamming Rudy and more importantly Fred Thompson, and he didn’t! I have always held Dobson to a different standard I guess. Right now I am very disappointed.

Hello All,
First off let me say I agree with “Do Not Give In To Evil At Any Level”. However, in today’s America there are not enough people out there how really want to do anything about it. I wrote about this in my pesonal Blog, Fred & “The Doctrine of Original Intent” (http://federalistfred.blogspot.com/). Believe me I TRIED, I TRIED, I TRIED to motivate people. America is not ready. As a result we are left with two very bad choices. In my blog I talked about my voting twice for Ross Perot, not because I thought he could win but because I wanted my vote to count yet not for Bush or Clinton (I didn’t want either one). Well I wasn’t the only one who voted those years for “None of the above!”. There were not however, enough people do due anything but put Clinton in office. Hind site says we did the right thing but had a very bad result. For this reason I must vote “The lesser of the two evil’s”. In my blog I also explain that I feel that the U.S. was formed by God to carry on the great commission. The U.S. is the first nation in the world that has the resources and the drive to carry it out. We as Christians must do what we can to stem or at least slow down the tide of the U.S. self destuction. If America goes under any hope of evangelizing the world is lost!
As Far as Dr Dobson is concerned, his email letter was the whole reason why I started my blog. Please go there and read for yourself why I endorsed Fred Thompson as the only true Christian Federalist Conservative, and felt he should have been picked up by all conservatives and Christians to govern, to protect Gods Constitution, and to lead this nation back to the founding fathers Christian heritage princibles.
As Always thanks for being Involved, Many Blessings, Shane

I think America is lost, personally. There is too much in play, too much money liberals are funneling through their nonprofits, and too many paid protesters in the streets.
With McCain in office, or worse - Hillary or Obama, we can kiss our blogs and our freedom of speech good bye.
