Barack Obama: another snakeoil salesman

By: Cao, Filed under: Obama @ 10:32 am

Paul Hollrah “Say What, Barrack?”:

Obama told his audience that, because some folks had the courage to “march across a bridge” in Selma, Alabama, his mother, a white woman from Kansas, and his father, a black Muslim from Africa, took heart. It gave them the courage to get married and have a child. The problem with that characterization is that Barrack Obama, Jr. was born on August 4, 1961, while the first of three marches across that bridge in Selma didn’t occur until March 7, 1965, at least five years after Obama’s parents met.

Obama went on to tell his audience that the Kennedys, Jack and Bobby, decided to do an airlift. They would bring some young Africans over so that they could be educated and learn all about America. His grandfather heard that call and sent his son, Barrack Obama, Sr., to America.

The problem with that scenario is that, having been born in August 1961, the future senator was not conceived until sometime in November 1960. So, if his African grandfather heard words that “sent a shout across oceans,” inspiring him to send his goat-herder son to America, it was not Democrat Jack Kennedy he heard, or his brother Bobby, it was Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Obama’s speech is reminiscent of Al Gore’s claim of having invented the Internet, Hillary Clinton’s claim of having been named after the first man to climb Mt. Everest… even though she was born five years and seven months before Sir Edmund climbed the mountain, and John Kerry’s imaginary trip to Cambodia.

Read the whole thing.

Why doesn’t the media call Obama on these things? I was in Montgomery, AL when those things were going on and it was in 1965! This guy’s whole life is based on lies! And, yet, we stand to get him for the President because people ‘want a change’. And, they may just get it - it just won’t be the change they are expecting.

  2. Ogre Says:

Lying: It’s how Democrats do, well, everything.

  3. Scrapiron Says:

Why tell the truth when a lie to a democrat is perfectly acceptable if it comes from a democrat. As a fact the only hero’s they have lied about their heroic acts. The real lies and acceptance of lies started with JFK and have never let up.

  4. Crusader Vic Says:

Obama has the hypnotic charm to seduce the girls into removing their clothes down to their panties…and then some. But take away the mic and the echo, and he sounds just like the rest of the B.S. artists.

  5. Ron Says:

One would think that someone who blogs apparently on a daily and passionate basis ought to know how to spell– “appropros” instead of the correct spelling, apropos–quite ironically appropriate.

  6. Cao Says:

Anybody who has an ounce of sense knows that nobody is perfect.

    Except you, of course.

You know you’re really bugging people when they start picking on the spelling.

I’m sorry, you missed the spelling bee - but this isn’t it.

By the way, I don’t know what the heck you’re talking about…since none of the commenters brought up that word on this post but you; and as far as I can tell, the post doesn’t include it, either.

    Can anybody say….irrelevant?

  7. VinDcator Says:

I don’t know why anyone is emailing ME about spelling or misspelling, but f–k Obama anyway.

  8. John Demers Says:

Anyone who thinks any politician is going to tell the truth all the time is asking to be lied to. Anyone who polarizes their views so severly that they can’t hear the truth even when it screams in their ear is destined to fail. Taken all together, Obama is the better candidate for today. Is he perfect, no. Is he better than McCain, yes. Stick that in your hat and “drill baby drill”…

  9. Cao Says:

    hmmm. Sullivan & Worcester.

Obama won’t even be honest about his freakin’ birth certificate and his eligibility to run for president. People who make excuses for liars like this and fully expect to elect liars into office — I don’t even know what to say about that stupidity.

And then there’s the troubling stuff that comes to light when reviewing Obama’s position on issues, which most of you aren’t looking at because being “black” is good enough for you - even though he’s really an Arab and not “black” —

    I think anyone who is making the conscious choice to vote in a socialist radical whose mentors in his life include child rapists, terrorists (not only the weatherman but the Islamic type) and people who think “education” means turning people into blind racist national socialist sychophants, you deserve what you get: someone who believes in murdering children after they’re born alive; someone who wants to increase capital gains taxes, and create a civilian “security” force that’s bigger than our military; and wants to put the world on American welfare with his global poverty act;

Good luck with that stupidity, my dear lefty.

McCain is all we’ve got, and the McCain/Palin ticket is the winner in this no-win situation.

Stick that up your *** and “drill baby drill”

  10. VinDcator Says:

On Harlem voters (Howard Stern): Is it racist to suggest that the blacks who were queried about Obama-McCain are just plain stupid, or are they a true representation of the black mentality in America?

  11. Cao Says:

Well, I think it was proven with asking people who support Obama about Obama’s positions on issues…which are REALLY McCain’s positions on issues. If this was about where he stands, they would be voting for McCain, now, wouldn’t they?

They dont’ CARE where he stands on issues; this is entirely about voting in - what they THINK is a black man into office, regardless of his politics.

    THAT is SCAREY.

But not surprising, considering Louis Farrakhan thinks Obama is the Messiah; and the NOI and Farrakhan are the biggest racists I’ve ever seen….

Obama’s former church and mentor espouse Black Liberation Theology…which James Cone wrote needs to “kill a God that’s not against white people”

  12. VinDcator Says:

Yeah, well I’m with you. The question is, do the Dems have a broad enough base to elect this guy? The black vote certainly isn’t enough to do it.

  13. Cao Says:

Acorn is padding that base with voter fraud. While people are attempting to verify the fraudulent addresses and checking over numerous registrations under the same name….this election is not looking good for honest people who only vote once.

  14. VinDcator Says:

And if the appearance of fraud rears its ugly head, are we going to be called “racist”?

  15. Cao Says:

The “racist” theme has completely gone to the extreme.

It’s racist to use the term “black hole” when talking about space.

It’s racist to call chocolate cake “devil’s food cake”…

And there are a lot of others…people have actually complained about those terms and called them “racist”.

That’s what’s being taught in schools today…that the US is an oppressive theocracy of white racists who keep minorities down, and to combat that, they started affirmative action…

And putting pressure on mortgage companies to give loans to minorities who couldn’t afford to pay them back; instead of looking to see if they qualify on their credit applications.

The mortgage crisis is due, in part, to “The Community Reinvestment Act” that came into being under Jimmy Carter…which boils down to affirmative action over reasonable banking practices.

Did you know Christopher Columbus was a racist, too? Even our founding fathers were “racists”.

When a socialist calls you a racist, I would say you’re in good company.

  16. VinDcator Says:

So, it’s societal guilt that has made some bend over backwards in the name of political correctness. Now, with this political orthodoxy, you can’t utter an opinion without thinking twice and looking around. And, God forbid, if the person of interest happens to be a “minority,” you are labeled a racist. What a fine mess we have gotten ourselves into!

  17. Cao Says:

A clearer idea of what it is we’re facing is in Evan Coyne’s Film “Indoctrinate U”.

This is happening in business, in the workplace, outside of the University environment. Not quite to this extent, but…if Obama gets his “civilian national security force”…you can see where this is headed.

    It’s already on the internet…

  18. VinDcator Says:

“1984″ may actually begin in 2008, if this guy gets in. Once that occurs, there really be a revolution in America, the likes of which this country has never seen.
