jihadists murder Chaldean Archbishop; bury in shallow grave

He didn’t have his heart medication and died in captivity. It isn’t only this one Archbishop that points to a problem, either.

In June Father Ragheed Gani and three deacons were murdered, two priests were kidnapped in October, and in January four churches and a convent were bombed.

“When Archbishop Rahho was kidnapped nearly two weeks ago his driver and two companions were shot dead. Now, he has been killed.

What I find somewhat puzzling is how the media clamors for Bush to do something to protect the Christians in Iraq. Perhaps the Iraqis themselves should do something…it’s their country; and the Chaldeans are very old in Iraq - they are a very old Christian community in the land of the two rivers-since some time in the mid 1500’s.

I’ve seen reports that tell the story that these jihadists were trying to get Iraq’s Christians to arm themselves and oppose the Coalition forces.

Perhaps that would make everyone feel better about jihadists…if Christians were found doing the same thing.

The problem is, the Bible doesn’t give them the same motivation as the Koran.
