Halabja
Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is participating in the ceremonies for the 20th anniversary of the Halabja massacre.
Al-Maliki will reveal a monument to Omar Khawar, memorializing those who died horribly from Saddam Hussein’s chemical attacks–modelled after the Final Solution.
Khawar is the Kurdish man whose picture drawn as a man embracing his dead child killed by Saddam Hussein’s Halabj chemical gas attack against the Kurds in 1988, is known as the epitome of the massive human disaster.
