when third graders attack
This is rather frightening when you think about the ages of kids in the third grade.
All the interviews that I’ve heard of talk about what the courts are going to do to discipline these kids - and say nothing about the parents.
Are our kids now wards of the state, and is the state now trying to render parents’ decisions irrelevant?
That’s what it seems like when you consider that ruling in California that stated that home schooling is ‘unconstitutional’.
We are so hopelessly dependent on government that here in Illinois they’re talking about passing legislation to make it illegal to text message someone while walking across the street. Nevermind that if you’re that stupid and get hit by a bus, you deserve it. How in the heck would government protect someone from his own stupidity by passing a law? It’s the same thing as legislating people to wear a seatbelt or to strap their kid in a carseat, or to keep people from smoking.
