Keep Sami Al-Arian in jail

al-arian.jpgKeep Sami Al-Arian in jail and let him rot there. He admitted he was a terrorist, and was convicted.

This is in response to a bunch of not-so-bright people out there who are jumping on the ‘free Sami Al-Arian’ bandwagon.

In court Al-Arian plead guilty to, “conspiracy to make or receive contributions of funds, goods or services to or for the benefit of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad,” an admission that he was a terrorist. According to an April 17, 2006 DOJ press release:

“…Former University of South Florida professor Sami Al-Arian has pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiring to provide services to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), a specially designated terrorist organization, in violation of U.S. law, the Department of Justice announced today?Al-Arian pleaded guilty to Count Four of the indictment against him - a charge of conspiracy to make or receive contributions of funds, goods or services to or for the benefit of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad…Al-Arian’s agreement with the government calls for a recommended prison sentence of 46 to 57 months in prison, based on a five-year maximum statutory sentence. Al-Arian, 48, who has been in custody since his arrest on Feb. 20, 2003, has agreed to stipulate to deportation to another country by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement once his prison sentence has ended…” 1

By the way, CAIR is also in support of the “free Sami Al-Arian” movement, even though they claim they have nothing to do with terrorism.

So why would the “moderate” CAIR be asking its membership to help Al-Arian and represent this jihadist merely as an unfortunate “political prisoner?”

Interestingly enough, the “free al-arian” sites are complaining about his treatment after he has gone on a hunger strike and is getting a headache as a result. They’re complaining that he’s getting no IV treatment, blah, blah, blah. This was back in March, by the way, so if he died because of the hunger strike, I missed it.

I’d like to see more people talking about this guy’s guilt and the fact that he needs to stay in prison - rather than hear the useful idiots out there clamoring for his release.

Wasn’t he supposed to be deported?

“rather than hear the useful idiots out there clamoring for his release”. Isn’t that a major part of the modern day democrat party? Anyone that attempts to destroy America is a friend of their’s. Why didn’t a democrat take ‘his’ white panties off and wave them out the window at the WTC. They’re friends would have detoured around the building.

Yeah, that clamoring for murderers and terrorists IS a part of the modern day democratic party - which is socialist, we just can’t call it by its brand name yet.

    You’re too funny!
