You know whats so sad? I grew up celebrating May Day. My grandmother would help me make up baskets with candys and trinkets in it and take them to school and we’d exchange them with other class mates (who did the same thing) We’d also bake cookies and leave them in baskets on the neighbors porch or hanging from the door ****. That’s May Day to me. Too bad the real meaning behind it has destroyed those wonderful memories.
