Crescent controversy on Fox News television and Fox News front page!
Check out the Fox News front page today, where “Crescent Outrage” alternates top billing with “Six-Legged Soldiers!” Finally, more than a handful of Americans will at least know that there is a controversy over the Flight 93 memorial.
They won’t get much more than that from Fox’s text report, which is pretty bare. There is no mention of the Mecca orientation of the giant crescent, no mention of the 44 inscribed translucent blocks on the flight path, no mention of the Islamic sundial, and no fact checking (the modern media disease). Still, this is big.
The text report DOES show the side-by-side comparison of the Crescent of Embrace and the Islamic crescent and star insignia. It also reports Tom Burnett’s condemnation of the crescent design as an insult to his murdered son, and it mentions our petition.

This is powerful stuff. Not only do they show the clear likeness between the original design and an Islamic crescent and star flag, but the image they show of the redesign shows pretty clearly how the giant crescent remains intact in the redesign:
From the crescent and star likeness, they cut to Tom Burnett, asking what people would think if a memorial were laid out in the shape of a swastika. If viewers hadn’t just seen the crescent and star likeness, that statement could be made to sound crazy, but Fox does right by Tom, giving viewers the information they need to see the reasonableness of the comparison. Many thanks to Fox for getting this right.
Fox has a lot more information at their disposal. They had a television crew at the Somerset County Courthouse yesterday where Colonel Harry Beam laid out a precise and devastating exposé of Islamic and terrorist memorializing design features, and they were sent extensive fact checking materials. None of this gets into their present reporting. If they put that material into an investigative feature, they can knock the crescent memorial out for good.
UPDATE II: Avid Editor found another completely different Fox News segment on Red Lasso. This one is even better, mentioning the Mecca orientation of the giant crescent!

How AWESOME is that??? Might be time to use that email address for Sean Hannity’s program director and see if Sean could do an interview on Hannity’s America…???? I think Mr. Burnett and Alex would look good on National prime time.

It’s a mistake.
It’s better to protect several points of view,to get some common sense media into the GOP,because we are governing since many years and are loosing popular appeal.

What’s a “mistake”? I don’t know what you’re talking about; your comment is moonbatty! People object to FOX, but FOX gets most of its stories from the Associated with Terrorista Press. As a matter of fact, the same exact piece about the Flight 93 memorial was originally from the AP!!! Are you really that stupid, or did you forget to take your medication? Plus, those who object to FOX remind me of the leftists who put together th movie “Outfoxed: trying to prove how ‘biased” they are. God forbid any real reporting would show up, that would get just as much attention from socialists who hate for the truth to come out.
Fox missed some of the key points that make this thing a terrorist memorializing mosque; like the year-round Islamic sundial, for example. Kevin Jaques, the sharia law scholar, admitted that the crescent is a mirhab; only nobody has ever seen a mirhab this big before. So this plan is for the biggest mosque in north America; to be planted on the graves of the passenger and crew of Flight 93; who were not muslim; their murderers were.
This is not a right versus left issue, although you would think that leftists would be as outraged about this as anyone else. Interestingly, leftist bloggers haven’t picked up on it, so it would seem that just like Barack Obama who has not been declared an apostate for his practicing Islam at one time of his life but now claiming to be a Christian - and radical organizations like Hamas endorsing him - radical Islamists and socialist democrats are working together to destroy America. According to Islam, INTENT is all that matters. You can lie through your teeth to the infidel, just as long as you stay true to Islam in your heart.
Radical Muslims for Obama
I don’t think that anyone can prove that can of radical enemy endorsement of Repugnitards. Even Osama Bin Laden said it was okay to work with the socialists to achieve their goals since their goals are the same.
That is a sad state of affairs, and a sad commentary on where we are as a country.
