Bin Laden’s driver cries like a girl
WASHINGTON — The military judge overseeing the first war crimes trial against a terrorism suspect at Guantanamo Bay agreed Monday to bar some evidence against Osama bin Laden’s former driver because it was obtained in “highly coercive environments and conditions.”
Sure, let’s concentrate - not on the fact that the driver knew about the 9/11 attacks before they happened, or that he knew they were going to happen - let’s talk about how horrible his conditions were - and that he was interrogated like a prisoner would be.
“The interests of justice are not served by admitting these statements because of the highly coercive environments and conditions under which they were made,” Allred said of statements Hamdan made while held by U.S. forces in the Afghan outposts of Panjshir and Bagram.
Ah, and now we get to the heart of the matter - the Panshiris; Massoud’s guys; who were fighting alongside the Americans - and who spoke Dari, Panshiri and the language of the Taliban; Pashtun. In essence, America decided instead to use translators from southern Afghanistan, who would translate to the benefit of the Taliban. This was a really stupid move; but done under the advice of esteemed “diplomats” who really helped screw over the WoT and our military efforts-such as Zalmay Khalilzad.
We had won the war over the Taliban in 2001-2002 with Massoud’s men -muslims-fighting against terrorism along with us. After we turned our backs on them and withdrew our support from the North is when the Pashtun Taliban’s return starting cropping up again in news reports.
Meanwhile, Karzai has been lining his pockets with humanitarian aid money.
Bin Laden’s driver, like the rest of the Gitmo detainees who are whining and crying about their treatment - is/are using the rules from the Al Qaeda playbook; to complain about the treatment of their captors.
Despite the fact that they are eating so well that there is a Gitmo cookbook out; the fact that they get a new prayer book, prayer beads, a prayer cap, a sign that points to Mecca and 24/7 access to an Imam.

I’d like to see the remains of the person that makes you cry.

Thanks for reminding people that Massoud’s men won the war with US Special Forces, and Karzai lost it with lies, deceit, and secretly (sometimes openly) supporting the Taliban. Three more brigades of US troops will not change anything but simply raise the US death toll. On the other hand, 500 Special Forces and reactivating Massoud’s United Front Army under the command of US Special Forces, would win and end the Afghan war in less than 120 days. And that is a fact.
