God bless Sarah and Amina Said. I hope their father is caught and pays a price for what he’s done.

While watching the special report on (dis)honor killings Sunday evening, I was shocked at one story. A young girl in 1984, brutally murdered by her parents for “being an honor student and daring to go out and get a job at Wendy’s”. The audio of the murder was caught on tape because the man was under investigation by the FBI. The parents were sentenced to death. What was more chilling to me was to hear her 2 sisters interviewed, stating that she got what she deserved, and that they only grieve for their now dead parents!!! All I could think about is, how do we protect these innocent children in our society, when the entire family is so sick as to condone murder of a family member. Islam Said is just as bad if not worse.

    Fox News Special Honor Killings

That was a really good program. I watched it last night at the stop the aclu blog (link above)

It’s a culture clash; and we’d better figure out how to deal with it and soon!

I have thought about starting a “rescue” for young girls at risk, but with those girls being young, innocent children, I get the feeling that they, believing their parents love them, never really see it coming. Too innocent to even know to run. How do you deal with that?
I cried through that program and especially listening to young Sarah Said’s phone call to 911. It broke my heart.
