“only a two-page “note” governs U.S. Military in Afghanistan”

Isn’t it interesting that the Washington Post would acknowledge this in the open?

It wasn’t that long ago, that three Americans were set up in a kangaroo Taliban-led court while the American governments turned its back to their fates and the media denied there was any such agreement.

This was argued in their Habeas Corpus Brief and the press said that no such agreement existed.

The “note,” which apparently still no one has seen, gave them all complete immunity, in fact it gave all americans working in Afghanistan complete immunity.

For the past six years, military relations between the United States and Afghanistan have been governed by a two-page “diplomatic note” giving U.S. forces virtual carte blanche to conduct operations as they see fit.

So… where are the blabbermouths NOW?

So yeah I just got done hearing about Idema, reading the wiki article, reading the blacksite idemaforum flamewars from 2006, your timeline of Idema, and something about birds and shoes. Its 4:00 AM now. So what is ol’ Jack up to these days?? I’d research some more, but I thought it’d be better to ask you directly as I am extremely tired now. (This entire story, from Idema himself to me reading other people arguing with each other on a board that closed down two years ago, has been quite a journey.)

He’s not in Afghanistan anymore; is alive and well, and is getting on with his life.

And I even heard that he’d consider another trip to Afghanistan after things have turned bad there, so I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens in that story.
