the Obama followers say “it’s the issues”

Well this picture kind of summarizes the issues, LOL..people are waking up, despite the Obama obfuscation campaign of attacking the messenger. I object to the idea of ’spreading the wealth’. Biden said in a debate with Palin - in response to Palin’s accusing them of ‘redistributing the wealth’ - that it’s FAIRNESS. FAIRNESS for WHO? Certainly not the working people in this country!

When Obama supporters say “it’s the issues” (but they really mean it’s because he’s black) - and when they talk “issues” - they’re talking things like socialized medicine aka “free healthcare”, which has been proven in other countries to be a disaster - and which Hawaii stopped after having it for only 7 months. I can’t believe they’d look me in the eye and say that - let alone BELIEVE it.

The book “Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand, clearly illustrates why Obama’s position on taxes and healthcare are completely wrong for America; it talks about how the best and brightest leave the socialist government because they’re not being rewarded and because of the leeches that suck on them in a system like that. That is the reason why innovation, new products, and production in general - slows down in a socialist economy; you don’t see the rewards for your hard work.

The leeches used the producers to subsidize the lives of people who did not work or generate their fair share. The producers eventually left the socialist society one by one until they were completely absent, leaving what was left of the society to plunge completely into the ugly depths of the failed experiment called socialism. The socialists did fail when they were completely bankrupt, and the capitalists did win, ultimately rebuilding society from the ashes up.

We couldn’t see a better example of how socialism works than in the recent Hawaiian experiment that just failed. No socialist country has examples of health care or economic advances to be proud of.

Don’t they listen to the stories of people who have escaped from communist countries like Cuba? or Vietnam? or Romania? or any number of others?

Why don’t they investigate past the slogans? Instead, they spit out those slogans as though they’re some kind of intelligent original thought!

Incidentally, the communist and socialist dictatorships are the “regimes” that Obama’s followers seem to long for. Take Jodie Evans, the Obama bundler and Code Pink-o member; as an example.

You’d think that Obama’s associates who are blatant radicals would bother people…but Obama’s associations with people ARE consistently radical and controversial, which is why Obamanots attack the people who point it out. Obama, like it or not, is just a man - and he’s a presidential candidate, so he deserves to be under scrutiny; just like employees who interview for a job. In a sense, that’s what Obama’s candidacy is; a job interview. Obama’s followers would rather attack the people who are asking the questions which provoke you to think about the facts and questionable character of the man.

They just want you to blindly pull that lever. But you see, their actions are doing Obama’s campaign more harm than good.

Just like Obama’s actions. You just have to wonder about the conversations he’s avoiding, like the one in Pennsylvania court about producing his birth certificate, LOL…that one is a MAJOR issue and points to his running for President and not being even ELIGIBLE to run. Wouldn’t that be something? Obamanots are supporting someone who shouldn’t even be on the democratic ticket! I would say that is a major “issue”.

You should be able to judge people by the company they keep; and Obama’s associates for years have been hate-America radicals, and that’s a HUGE “issue” for me, even if the Obama acholytes don’t see it that way. He didn’t renounce Reverend Wright, his mentor of over 20 years, or the Trinity United Church of Christ until Wright’s “goddam America” speeches grew to be too much of a liability for his campaign; although I never heard him renounce the black liberation theology that Wright and TUCC teach there; and Michelle Obama certainly views the world through the prism where black folks are entitled because white folks are evil.

I’m sorry, I don’t want these white-hating black nationalist people in the whitehouse.

Michelle, incidentally, wrote a thesis paper at Princeton which clearly outlined her thoughts on the black race and experience; which mirrors those of Nelson Mandella and the black nationalists in Africa who are killing the farmers there. As a result, food isn’t being grown on those farms. You’d think they could put their racism on the back burner in order to survive, but they just can’t seem to calm their blind hatred toward people of the white race, and they justify these crimes for having been a result of apartheid. Ha! Apartheid is the reason that Mandela was voted in! Now, the government is silently committing white genocide and nobody is talking about it. Just like black people complaining about slavery long after it was abolished, it’s time they put down their badge of victimhood and realized we’re not in the ’60’s anymore. Just the fact that Obama could become a presidential candidate points to the fact that the civil rights movement is over; not all people see the world through race-colored glasses.

I don’t understand what “issues” they’re supporting, because for me, these “issues” and many more- are the reasons why Obama shouldn’t become president: and his support of infanticide is at the top of the list.

Here’s a list sent to me from Kentucky:

  • Obama wants to issue driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. He even advocated this while in the Illinois Senate.
  • Obama is for gun control. Are you listening, hunters and folks who just want to protect their family in case their home is broken into?
  • Obama approves of baby killing (abortion). He voted to lift the ban on partial-birth abortion.
  • Obama has the former CEO and CFO of the failed Fannie Mae as financial advisors. They helped create this mess, and now they can tell him how to fix it?
  • In 2005, when George Bush, John McCain and others were calling for tighter controls on lending institutions, Obama and others voted against it. Oh, and don’t blame this mess on Bush. Bill Clinton, a Democrat, was the president who pushed for loaning to those whose credit was less than stellar.
  • Obama says he is a Christian, but he has also said, “I will stand with the Muslims if the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” (From his book “Audacity of Hope.”) Do you know what the Muslim goal is? World rule and making conversion to Islam mandatory or be killed. The Koran says this is OK.
  • Obama has the most liberal voting record in the Senate. With Congress under Democratic control, in the interest of good checks and balances, we don’t need a Democrat for president.

I’m sorry, but socialism isn’t the answer to our problems; look at what happened to other countries; take the testimonies of former communists and socialists who realized after their “revolution” succeeded - the error of their ways and are warning us about their experiences and how it’s happening here.

Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it. And you won’t be happy with it…

What I absolutely am offended by - is the fact that Obamanots are so stupid; beligerent and unwilling to listen. It’s as though they are completely unable to stop a moment and think about what it is Obama has said; and they are willing to trust a man with the future of this country when he’s surrounded himself with hate-America radicals, sexual deviants and Islamic heroin and drug dealers his whole life.

None of that matters to them; the sexual encounters with men during his marriage to Michelle and while his daughters are growing up don’t matter to them, either; they say “everyone has skeletons in their closet”.

But how many people have this many skeletons?

And why is it that they don’t care that Obama’s past history, his being adopted by his stepfather and having gone to school in Indonesia while they were at war - points to the fact that he is an Indonesian citizen and doesn’t make that natural-born qualification to be president?

Why aren’t the Obama people considering the “Issues” when they SAY it’s all about “issues”?

Are the Obama people saying they want to throw the constitution out the window, nationalize businesses, put the nation on rationed healthcare that everyone pays for - and few benefit from?

Yes they are, but when you ask them that question, their eyes glaze over as though they’d never thought of it before.

It’s not the issues at all. Because if it were, they would be voting for and supporting a different candidate.

That is, unless your name is Gumby and you’re fighting for the rights of pedophiles in prison.

And probably the biggest “issue” is his stupidity on the Iraq war and “bringing the troops home”. He wants to take the money we’re spending in Iraq and put it somewhere else; he’s not going to refund that money to the American people…he’s not planning on reducing our taxes, he’s planning on increasing them, which is why he tried to sneak through the Global Poverty Act - to put the whole WORLD on American welfare.

“Issues” my ass.

It’s called “Atlas Shrugged,” just so you know. It’s hard to believe someone admonishing Obama supporters for being ignorant who can’t even get the name of a book right.

  2. Cao Says:

Oh shame on me for the terrible sin of getting the name of a book wrong. (Atlas Shrugs is the name of one of my favorite blogs and that was an easy slip of the finger.)

You have got to be kidding. I can’t believe you’re so insecure and such a nitpicker that you wouldn’t have noticed that I correctly cited it in the past.

Right, because I can’t cite the title of a book correctly, I’m not allowed to question The One!

but of course - Nobody is allowed to Question The One.

People get beaten up, get phone calls, get police called on them for calling him a socialist, get their property vandalized -

All for supporting McCain, or asking simple questions.

Well I’m sorry but people are entitled to cite things incorrectly and have an opinion that’s different than yours!! People are entitled to ask questions of their presidential candidates. The candidates are applying for an important job that we all pay for.

But YOU’RE SO perfect, that you correct me on the title of the book but haven’t learned a lesson from what’s in it. And Obama is the Messiah and you don’t dare question the Messiah, right?

That’s why we can put out a laundry list of things he’s lied about!

Starting with “I never heard the good Reverend say goddam America” - in 20 years - as his mentor…

And “Ayers is just a guy from my neighborhood”
