Today’s trib, true to its commie racist outlook
The front page has a very large picture of a small white house with a little chimney on it. The headline is “Michelle Obama’s family tree has roots in a Carolina slave plantation”. I’ll bet Bill Ayers had something to do with this, LOL–particularly since his book about how we’re an oppressive racist nation is coming out soon- cowritten by his terrorist wife Bernadine Dohrn.
I don’t think this newspaper could get much more pukeworthy than this: Underneath the picture that takes up all the space on the top of the fold, is written
“Michelle Obama’s great-great-grandfather, Jim Robinson, born around 1850, lived with other slaves in the whitewashed cabins of Friendfield Plantation in Georgetown, S.C. Five of the buildings remain.”
Those Obamunists must be so proud.
Then, there’s a picture of Michelle hugging her great-aunt Dorothy Robinson with a ginormous headline to the left, “A Family’s Journey Between White Houses”. The caption under the photo reads “Michelle Obama greets great-aunt Dorothy Robinson before the election at Bethel AME Church in Georgetown, which Obama’s grandparents attended. (His white grandma is laying on a slab in Hawaii, because Obama can’t be bothered to bury her - although I gather he’s supposed to make the trip to do that some time in December.)
Wow, I wonder when they’re going to talk about Barack’s arab slave trading ancestors on the Kenyan side and the slave owners on his momma’s side…that would make quite a headline and visual, too, don’t you think?
This is the issue of the Tribune where the “We the People Foundation” published the first full page ad, and I wonder what kind of attention it will get.
The front page article continues inside with more slobbering about Michelle Obama’s slave relatives, but what got my attention in this issue - and the reason we bought it - was not that pathetic sad sack Michelle beating on that slavery meme- it was the fantastic letter from the “We the People” foundation asking that Obama come clean about who he is.
This should go down in history as the most ridiculous times we’ve ever lived through.

I think that it’s genuinely touching, and a testimony to the real struggles mounted by generations of people in this countries histry that a woman who’s great grandfather was a slave is now on her way to the White House. It’s a touching and deeply important narrative and I see no real problem that it be included in the paper, which, after all, is filled with much “fluffier” human interests tales all the time. After reading your post, I still can’t claim to know what’s your beef. Explain away

Not really true. Lunatic, fringe groups of all kinds have been taking out ads in the paper from time to time. There’s no real need to judge our era by the nonsensical sour grapes yammering of hack, inconsequencial outfits like “we the people”.

These times will certainly be remembered for how ridiculous the loony right wing got after their failed ideas were totally discredited in every arena. That, you can pretty much count on. Hoover will soon be remembered much more fondly than he traditionally has been, and that’ll be courtesy of the modern-era “conservatives.”

Kenya Obama’s Father’s homeland was that country (center of the East African slave trade). So in Barrack Hussein Obama, you have a fairly aristocratic black man whose Father went to Harvard with an Arab name from the country that was the capital of the Arab slave trade in blacks.
These circumstances virtually shout that Obama is descended from slave traders. Blacks who in close association with the Arabs helped sell their fellow blacks into slavery.
The Slave markets in Zanzibar, Kenya, were among the last to close. They closed in 1888 a quarter of a century after the Civil War ended slavery in the US.
When I see Obama on television I see a man who seems to have that kind of family confidence that comes to the descendants of aristocrats and slave owners over generations. He is always sure that he will prevail over the lowborn commoners around him (like the lowborn Africans his relatives caught and sold).
Is America about to elect the descendant of slave owning, slave trading Muslim aristocrats into the White House, as a ‘Black’ man? This is a real question.
I sort of hope it happens. It will pretty much destroy black peoples right to object to flying the Confederate Battle Flag or objecting to people being proud of Robert E. Lee or Jefferson Davis.
…The only thing about him, is that he does not fit the preconceptions about Color which most Americans hold. If he is elected it will be because Americans cannot understand his origins and the history of his people confusing it with the history of black people in the USA.

Actually, I don’t see how you could say that the ‘failed rightwing’s ideas were discredited in every area’.
Bush was not a rightwinger; the leftwing’s ideas have failed for hundreds of years, yet they keep saying that it wiill work ‘this time’.
Yeah, let’s give communism another chance - more people have died as a result of communism than have died in all the conflicts we’ve ever been involved in.
And not to mention - the civil rights movement has been hijacked by the leftwing - along with a lot of rightwinger’s money - like the Heinz Foundation money, for instance.
Radical leftwingers swooped in and took advantage of Annenberg, also started by a conservative.
Those aren’t failed rightwing ideas - those are things that leftwingers have hijacked for their own failed agenda.
Not once has anyone ever thanked Bush for taking action after 9/11 - leftwingers are trying to bury the mrmory of the people jumping out of the twin towers.
Any way you look at it, leftwingers are despicable.
And…when you poll the people on the street over Obama - they agreed with McCain’s platform; which indicates that the only reason they voted Obomunist is because he’s supposedly black, which is, as the poster above, pointed out - NOT EVEN TRUE; his ancestors bought and sold slaves - they were Arab slave traders.
It’s a shame - a crying shame - that leftists are too clueless to put 2&2 together and come up with 4.
People in general are pro life and don’t agree with Obama’s radical agenda to kill babies…and on and on down the line.
Few voters agreed with what Obama has laid out …and the ones that claim they agreed with it - don’t even know what he stood for because he’s a liar that twists with the wind.

Obama does have a connection to slavery in America - his white mother’s ancestors, Mareen Duvall and Richard Cheney, owned slaves in Maryland. That is a matter of public record. The 1694 inventory of DuVall’s estate names 18 slaves. Cheney, also ancestor of **** Cheney, probably owned more slaves.

And how is Hoover going to “fare any better” now? History has already spoke on that…maybe you plan to rewrite that as you liberals are so found of trying to do?
