My name, “Caoilfhionn” (key-lin) was given to me on a discussion forum a few years ago. It’s irish gaelic (and means slender and fair) and was shortened by my friends to “Cao”, which is prounounced “key”. People have pointed out that the name “Cao’s blog” could be “Chaos blog”, and in a sense that is appropriate because what I write causes chaos in the minds of liberals, and for some reason what I write causes them to work themselves up into a rabid frenzy. Some people, like Kender at Kender’s Musings, think that is a great skill. I, on the other hand, am not TRYING to get their noses pulled out of joint; I’m only writing the truth as I see it; and pull from articles and truth backed up by facts that is not being covered by the MSM. The more I blog, the more it’s evident to me that the MSM has become a socialist tool of the left.

Because of what I feel is the necessity for conservatives to get better organized, in partnership with several other bloggers, I also own another blog called The Wide Awakes. This is a collaborative effort with about 40 other bloggers who are striving to fact check the MSM and get the truth out.

I’m a happily married woman living in the Midwest. I have two sons who have proudly worn US military uniforms. One in the army, the other, at the Marine Military Academy in Harlingen, Texas. My family has a history and a love of the US military…my dad and my Uncle are both former Marines. My oldest has been to Iraq FOUR TIMES. The mission in Iraq is a part of the larger War on Terror, which we are fighting on many fronts—the most important part, I feel, is the war we’re fighting against the peace movement at home. The mission in Iraq is not a separate military action from the War on Terror. Saddam had ties to terrorism. He allowed terrorists to take refuge in Iraq and paid suicide bombers in Palestine.

There are other “dots” that connect him to terrorist activity as well. Especially after 9/11 it is not wise to ignore them. Reading Bin Laden’s fatwa against the United States and reviewing the history of jihad against the United States makes it clear that we need to rise up to meet this threat…these are people who have taken a blood oath to destroy our very way of life and replace it with a way of life ruled by Sharia law. We will never remove the terrorist threat through military action alone. Establishing freedom and democracy in the Middle East is the only way we will eradicate the threat of terrorism. If freedom and democracy were not the greatest threat to the terrorist organizations why are more and more foreign terrorists going to Iraq to fight? If we stay the course and help the Iraqi people establish a society they can call their own they will become a beacon of hope to the people in the Middle East.

This blog reflects the issues that are close to my heart….for God, family and Country

Alinksy’s rule #5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.”

And consider this language from rule #11, wherein Alinsky suggests that the main job of a “community organizer” is to bait his opponent into reacting in a certain way: “The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength.”

The same rule applies if you appear to be a useful idiot, as Uri Bezmenov described in his 1984 interview with G. Edward Griffin.

You can’t get through to them. They are contaminated. They are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern [alluding to Pavlov]. You cannot change their mind even if you expose them to authentic information. Even if you prove that white is white and black is black, you still can not change the basic perception and the logic of behavior.

The facts tell nothing to him, even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents and pictures. …he will refuse to believe it….

There is absolutely no reason that I should waste my time attempting to discuss issues or posts with people who a) are attacking me and b) have permanent blinders on.
