If everything goes according to plan, blue-state Democrats are going to let us keep our guns and our money and our kids and our faith — and all the other things that government keeps trying to steal from us.
The Canadian embassy reports that the requests from U.S. citizens for travel visas, citizenship applications, and political-asylum petitions have skyrocketed since the glorious day of November 2, 2004, when big-government liberalism was once again relegated to the ash heap of history (for the next four years, at least). One contact at the Canadian embassy said they are overwhelmed with requests to enter Canada from Canada’s neighbor to the south. The Canadians haven’t seen this kind of invasion of young discontented Americans since the Vietnam draft dodgers poured across the border.
European nations, especially France, are also reporting a surge in applications from Americans wanting to leave these shores immediately (and hopefully for good). It appears that if the Left in America can’t bring the European welfare state and high taxes on the rich to America, they will go to enjoy them in Europe. GOOD RIDDANCE!
It would also appear, then, that the party that preaches “tolerance” as the preeminent virtue just can’t tolerate one thing: conservatives. (This is especially true when conservatives control the instruments of political power.) Well, I respect that. When you get a fanny-whupping like the Left got on Election Day — when every one of your core values (tax hikes on the rich, abortion on demand, government-run health care, reparation payments for slavery, one-world government, polygamy) has been rejected by your bigoted and narrow-minded fellow citizens — it’s just cowardly to stick around.
Liberals of America, unite! Leave this horrid and wicked and irredeemable backwater! Why not create a workers’ paradise off the shores of France? You can all speak French, allow Janet Jackson to show both her breasts, create a cradle-to-grave welfare state, drink Starbucks lattes, read the New York Times every day, scramble the satellite signal for Fox News, and worship your new leader, Michael Moore! Hell, we’ll throw in Harvard and the whole faculty! It’s a gift. Here’s an added incentive: You will never have to take the war on terrorism to the terrorists; they will almost certainly bring it right to your doorstep.

I have the same advice. If you do not love your country then get the hell out. This country is the greatest in the world and many people die trying to get here for the freedoms we enjoy. The idea of not loving your country, despite any failings it might have, is absolute hypocracy. If you love the freedoms and the opportunities then you should love the country. If you do not love this country then stop sponging off it, get off the teet, and move to another country where you can enjoy the love of humans seen in these wonderful places. Perhaps North Korea, North Vietnam, or Siberia Russia would be more to your liking. You could go to One of the Arab worlds where they love humans so much they treat women like property, something less than human. Maybe you could tell them how much you dislike their behavior and then have your head lopped off.

We must read it with the guidance of the holy spirit, in concert with other believers, and people who can translate from the original Hebrew to get the true meaning of the words. The genius of chosing that language is–it was very specific in its meaning. It was written for the tribes of Israel. The New Testament was written for the believers. Well as you can tell by my username, I am in fact the webmaster and founder of Forsake The Troops.
I find it amazing how everyone cries and whines about freedom of speech, and then when someone comes along with a view they don’t agree with, they cry out “post your name and address for all to see”, “call his hosting company” and you generally want to take away the speech you don’t agree with. Of course, that’s typical of your ilk.
This website isn’t going anywhere. It is highly unlikely that my host will pull the website, because it does not violate any laws. If angering and disgusting people is a violation of law, then 94% of the websites out there must be shut down, including this one. Fair’s fair.
I also find it funny that people think this website is being done for attention, or traffic, or whatever. It is not. People suggest fighting back by not going, and thereby eliminating traffic. First off, that hasn’t happened since the website’s gone online. We’ve actually had to upgrade our server to meet the traffic demands. Secondly, if that happens, so be it. The people that comprise our organization have plenty of disposable income, and paying for a server that costs less than $150 a month is a drop in the bucket for us. Visit, don’t visit….it’s up to you. The site’s staying up whether we get 1 hit a day or 100,000 a day. Just so you know, we got 119,371 hits yesterday alone.
The site exists for the very reason the Internet exists…to put our views out there, and give people a chance to express their opinions, through the guestbook, forums, or e-mailing their oh so intelligent comments.
You can call Forsake The troops “filth” or whatever you like, but the fact remains, the site isn’t going anywhere. Even if our host were to shut it down, the site will merely move to another hosting provider outside of the country. The worst that would happen, people, is that the site would go down for 48 hours, although we have contigency plans in place to make sure our message stays up. The underlying point is, you can’t take a website off the Internet just because you don’t disagree with it.
I laugh at the notion that people with my views be forced to leave the country. Isn’t freedom of speech and expression one of the foundations on which this country was founded? Besides, I pay taxes, as does every one of our nineteen members….we have a right to be here, and speak our mind, regardless of what anyone thinks.
I find it funny that people say the website pisses them off, makes them cry, or whatever….yet they still come back every day. Ironic, isn’t it?

I just stumbled across your blog 15 minutes ago and it’s already a favorite. You guys are great Americans. I am interested on your take of the dems notion to allow ex-felons to vote. At first I felt that we on the right or right/center had no argument since these folks had paid their debt to society but after further consideration I think that we owe it to the victims of the crimes to not let their leaders be chosen by those who hurt them, but at least I say let’s leave to the states to decide. Oh, I never thought of that, Timmy. Good point about intentionally misquoting the Bible. Considering the intentional derogatory inflammatory things they say and disparaging remarks along with the disgusting language, you can’t help but draw conclusions.
A few of us who call ourselves Christians really do believe,
and try to keep the true spirit of the text in place. It’s called “rightly dividing the word of truth“, which can only be done with the help of the holy spirit.
I was reviewing the blog and wanted to comment on the text concerning the Old/New Testaments.
To put it simply: the rules have changed. The wages of sin were death but Christ paid that debt for us. Besides the commandments of the Old Testament; King David (through the gift of divine wisdom)left us all with great advice on how to live our daily lives on a daily basis. Forget self help books…turn to Proverbs. My favorite piece of wisdom from the Old testament is Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV)
Is God trying to tell us something? Maybe…
