October 30, 2009Morrison Files as Republican Primary Challenger Against Bassi
Springfield, IL – Republican challenger Tom Morrison files petitions at the State Board of Elections this morning as a candidate for the 54th House District. He will face-off incumbent Suzie Bassi in the Feb. 2nd Republican Primary.
“I’ve knocked on well over a thousand doors. Republicans are fed up and ready for new leadership.†Morrison file approximately one thousand signatures(twice the state requirement). Over half these signatures were collected during Tom’s door-to-door campaign.
A campaign pedometer, now featured at Morrison2010.com, measures Morrison’s progress walking door-to-door. He’s covered 112 miles, knocking on a couple thousand households.
Tom Morrison is a local ServPro owner, a company that specializes in disaster cleanup and restoration. He lives in Palatine with his wife Bethany and two children.
