If you come here and things look surprisingly different; don’t worry, I’m just experimenting and taking a break from some other things. It’s getting more strange to me that I find looking at, figuring out and modifying wordpress CSS and php coding is something I like to do for recreation.
The thing is…I know just enough to be dangerous and inadvertently break things.
but I keeping learning.
I’m experimenting with several themes here; Chris Pearson’s copyblogger, a magazine theme or two, and thesis…and I just stumbled on an amazing framework called hybrid. Hybrid appears to be very flexible, but I’m hesitant to activate anything for fear that I’ll break something, which is my tendency when I play around with this stuff.
I learned some lessons along the way.
If I can ever get thesis or one of the child themes for hybrid to work; and turn out the way I envision the site to look, I’ll probably nuke the others; but thesis is an advanced theme that will require Felix’s help, probably. In the meantime you’ll see some changes, but don’t worry, it’s still the same blog and you’ve arrived at the right place.
