Details are sketchy; I’ve seen as many as 20 people were hurt as a result of this shooting. Headlines are saying 7 dead, 12 injured. We don’t know yet if they’re soldiers or civilians; one gunman is in custody, the other still on the run. KCEN in Waco reported the second perp may be holed somewhere on post. Fort Hood is on lockdown; but the incident occurred in the in the sports dome, aka the soldier readiness area.
According to an AP account, Hasan was being monitored by authorities for a number of reasons; one being his internet postings supporting suicide bombers. Hasan is not one of the people who died today.

Who is Malik Nadal Haasn? (MyFox Atlanta) Well, for starters, he was the shooter.
Hasan was a mental health professional—either an Army psychologist or psychiatrist. It’s not known if he was treating people at the post.
The AP said that officials are trying to determine if Hasan was his birth name, or if he converted to the Islamic faith at some point in his life. He was believed to have been in his late 30s.

Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, R-Texas, told Fox News that military sources informed her that the gunman was about to be deployed to Iraq.
The shooter was killed and two other suspects, who are also soldiers, have been apprehended, Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone said.
The general said there were “eyewitness accounts of more than one shooter,” and the others were tracked to an adjacent facility.
Interesting that ABC would be quoting FOX News…considering Fox doesn’t report News, according to Obama’s White House.

I wonder what the heck is going on… Well now we know…there is a muslim angle to this story which the MSM won’t touch…and if they do, I predict it will reflect the social justice narrative.

The shooter brings to mind Ayman al-Zawahiri, the psychiatrist behind Bin Laden. Unfortunate these unfortuitous psychiatric connections with terrorism.
What I don’t understand is how that guy had been promoted in May-let alone how he stayed in the military- if he was posting pro jihadist things on the internet.
