The Fort Hood Shooter is not only evidence of Jihad’s 5th Column, it’s evidence of the frightening cultural marxism that pervades media reporting and encourages leftist bloggers to ridicule those naming the real culprit in Hasan’s shooting rampage – which was plainly and clearly: Islam.
There has been a lot of discussion about the political correctness that sidesteps the real issue. This is the case of an Islamic military Major– Malik Nidal Hasan –who opened fire on his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood. He succeeded in killing 13 people and injuring 30, while yelling “Alahu Akbar”. Major Nidal Hasan is a psychiatrist, like Obama Bin Laden’s second in command, Ayman al-Zawahiri. Few have made that connection, but there’s more that is disturbing about this.
Hasan, like Zawahiri and jihadists around the world, opposes aggression against his muslim brothers and was about to deploy to Afghanistan. One can only imagine what goes on in the mind of an Islamist like Hasan. He gave out Korans the morning of the day he opened fire on his fellow soldiers; served on the president’s transition team1- and “worshipped at a mosque led by a radical imam said to be a “spiritual adviser” to three of the 9/11 hijackers.2 Yet, he was being watched (whatever that means). Authorities had him under scrutiny because he not only routinely argued with soldiers about Afghanistan and Iraq, but he is that selfsame Malik Nidal Hasan who had been posting pro-jihadist messages online which equated the heroism of a soldier who throws himself on a grenade – to a jihadist suicide bomber.
But no, there is no connection to radical Islam here. Move along.
Sadly, Hasan missed the difference: a soldier throws himself on a grenade to PREVENT other lives from being lost – because he is thinking of others instead of himself. A suicide bomber is about killing the enemy with his own bone fragments; so he can get eternal paradise, rivers of wine and virgins or little boys (whichever is his preference) – he is thinking only of himself.
One is about taking his own life to preserve the lives of others; the other is about taking his own life in the hopes of killing and injuring as many people as possible. According to the Koran, this is the only way he would be guaranteed paradise. One is a selfless act; the other is a selfish act.
Despite his unhappiness with his impending deployment to Afghanistan to the point where he was trying to wriggle his way out of the commitment…despite his arguing with fellow soldiers about disagreeing with the mission…despite all of these things media is feigning shock and dismay and wonder what could possibly be his motivation for such a horrid act? Even after they reported the “why”; they refuse to define the root cause.3 That might draw the ire of a radical organization such as CAIR to sue for discrimination!
- The Chicago Tribune described Hasan as a “disturbed single gunman” 4
- A Minnesota Daily Editorial headlined the incident as a “tragedy developing.”5
- Newsweek’s Rabeika Messina wondered what in the world we should do before “tragedy strikes.”6
- Gordon Lubold at the Christian Science Monitor called it a “tragedy” that “unfolded”7
- Dallas Morning News’ Jacquielynn Floyd called Hasan’s shooting spree “a special kind of crazy.”8
- Ronald Reagan drew a parallel between conservative activists’ protests against Healthcare and Hasan’s shooting rampage9
- President Obama cautioned people not to ‘jump to conclusions’.10 11 12
- Philip Rucker’s headline at MSNBC reads “The lonely life of alleged Fort Hood shooter-’He was mistreated. He didn’t have nobody. He was all alone,’ says neighbor.”13
- Jan Jarvis at the Star-Telegram consults psychiatrists to speculate about what went wrong.14
It’s a complete mystery to them, isn’t it? Media interviews psychiatrists (instead of experts on jihad) to find some explanation for why he snapped; depict him as a victim; giving voice to that eternal whining from the social justice crowd and the terror bar.15 16

Despite the fact that political correctness in favor of muslims has gone awry in the military to a degree that is shocking. Mosques have been erected on military bases- even at Marine headquarters in Quantico, Virginia! The military is going out of its way to make things worse by actively recruiting them and even hiring Muslim chaplains endorsed by radical Islamic front groups, who convert and radicalize soldiers.17 There are 30 muslim soldiers at Ft. Hood, and although not all muslims are terrorists, all koran-waving jihadists that yell “alahu akbar” are muslim. Unfortunately, media has found a brand new posterchild for Islamic victimhood to exploit, Fort Hood’s Major Hasan.
Haven’t Americans learned from Islamic conversons in our prison system and the radicalizing of prison inmates?18 19 20 21 22 23
The morning of the shooting he appeared in muslim garb at a convenience store he frequents; he describes himself as “Palestinian” and was shopping for a muslim wife.24
There have been other examples of jihadists in our military: 25
• Navy Signalman Hassan Abujihaad
• Army reservist Semi Osman
• Army reservist Jeffrey Battle
• Marine Abdul Raheem al-Arshad Ali
• Army Sgt. Ali Mohamed
• Army Spec. Ryan Anderson
• Army sniper John Muhammad
• Army Sgt. Asan Akbar
And this is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
The military is the perfect place for forced social engineering; the courts are forcing it in a different way–the Flying Imams’ gift for being “oppressed” is an example.26 27 There is also a jihadi 5th column at work in our schools 28and in our prison system. But as long as Islamists in America are not living under sharia law, they’re going to wail about being “oppressed” and play the victim role.29
The Al Qaeda handbook instructs followers to complain about the treatment of their captors which GITMO has consistently demonstrated. GITMO terrorists, as a result, are getting preferential treatment; afforded more expensive meals than men serving in our own military at around $12.00 per plate not to mention better treatment than regular prison inmates. Compensating our nation’s enemies with appeasement for their lying complaints and victimhood fills the PC narrative. But it is going to get us in much more trouble than the legions of leftist lawyers who are falling all over each other to represent them-could ever imagine.
As for me, the tendency to demonize and put our own men on trial while we feel sorry for people like Hasan is making me very angry.

Sharing a Smile with The International Community,
Yousef al-Khattab
*as opposed to a USA’s”Preventive War”(aka war crimes)
Yeah, one of those “slain terrorists” was a pregnant woman.31 Hasan got a twofer with one bullet on that one. In total 13 people are dead and 30 injured, due to extremism that we should be fighting; not fostering. Yet, political correctness is encouraging its promulgation and it is spreading throughout our culture-through willful blindness of its mere existence.
There’s one thing for certain, though. The police officer that ended it by shooting him was a woman; and in Islam, women are second class citizens. Hasan is still in a coma, but if he wakes up, he will discover that it was an American woman police officer who almost sent him to paradise and ultimately stopped him.32

Cao, good post. I’m still seething and haven’t been able to get my mind around this craven act of terrorism in order to blog my feelings. Thanks.
Its terrorism, plain and simple. But I can guarantee this guy won’t even be charged with a hate crime. As you know, this IS the face of Islam, even if the government and media won’t admit it.
Yeah, it is, Ogre, they’re just doing what is written in the Koran. And al-takeyya for everyone else…
We should take comfort in the knowledge that this POS will never see the inside of a civilian court. What he has done goes far beyond mass murder and settles firmly in the realm of waging war against the United States and providing aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war. By working on behalf of a foreign power, organized or not, the crime that he has committed completely satisfies the definition of TREASON as outlined in the United States Constitution. So if by chance the military does end up sending him to federal court for trial on additional charges, I’m sure he wouldn’t be able to escape that minor Felony.
Also keep in mind that as an officer in the United States Army, he falls squarely under the jurisdiction of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Death by hanging is still a valid form of execution under the UCMJ.
After his body is done twitching, his remaining worthless carcass should be burned so that he cannot enter paradise to receive his 72 virgins.
